If you ever watched the show "Numb3rs" you know the saying that math is all around us. This is something to use to your advantage. First figure out what you enjoy doing, then apply math to it to make a project. For example:
1. If you like music, then you can take your favorite song and come up with a mathematical pattern for it.
2. If you like sports, then watch your favorite team on television and come up with statistics for each player showing the math behind it.
3. If you liked the movie "The DaVinci Code" then you can do a math project with the golden ratio and proving the ratio is clearly seen in beautiful things.

Statistical probability problem: If the Holocaust had not occurred for Jews, how many Jews would there be in 2006? Round to the nearest million.
Another question to pose: If the Holocaust had not occurred, would Jews that existed in a timeline where it did occur be the same as Jews that exist in the timeline where the Holocaust did not occur?
