If the speed of light is equal to "c" and you are traveling in the same direction as the beam of light at speed "x" then shouldn't the speed of light you're observing be equal to "c-x"? I know it's not and that "c" is constant regardles of the speed of the observer but why?

If a current of one or two-tenths of an ampere were to flow into one of your hands and out the other, you would most likely be electrocuted right? But, if the same current were to flow into your hand and out the elbow above the same hand, you could survive, even though the current might be large enough to burn your flesh. Why is this??

im studying cells in bio 11 and i have a question my teacher couldnt answer me.

the plasma membrane of the cell is composed of phospholipids (fats, proteins and more molecules) and is SEMI-pearmable, which means things can go in and out of the cell, but heres my question:

if a cell membrane were completely permeable, how would this affect the cell?

I would like a lot of info but please keep it simple so a grade 11 could understand it. THIS IS NOT HOMEWORK for the people that will be saying "SO UR QUESTIONG IS "WILL U DO MY HOMEWORK PLEASE?""

Say you have a problem like..

3x+2=y
2x+11y=3

Now i know you need to get the variables lined up in order to do that. Now would it be just the same thing like switching the variables and keeping the signs? or would you be changing the sings.. This is what i did.. let me know if im right.

3x+y=2
2x+11y=3

Or would it be something like...

3x-y=-2
2x+11y=3

Let me know.. not looking for what x and y equal.. Just how you would start out to solve it.
