A FEW MINS AGO WE WERE COMING HOME FROM DINER AND WE SAW A BIG LIGHT IN THE SKY IT LOOKED LIKE A FIRE BALL AND THEN WENT AWAY THEN IT CAME BACK AGAIN AND THEN WENT AWAY AGAIN WHAT WAS IT? FREAKED OUT

Hi. It was almost certainly a rotating satellite with solar panels on it. You just happened to be in the path of the reflection. They are actually pretty common but most people just don't look up that often. Go to www.calsky.com and sign up for emails for Iridium flashes. Pretty cool and free.
