at school we're going to be starting our science fair projects soon. (i absolutely hate it and want to do something easy to get it over with...but still get a good grade) i was considering doing a project on tooth decay (i know..it sounds weird..but seems easy) "what is the effect of various liquids on tooth decay?" i've heard that egg shells and teeth are made of the same thing so i was thinking that i could hard boil eggs and then place them in different liquids and then after a couple of weeks take them out and see how much has been decayed...my question is that are egg shells a good substitute for teeth and do you think my project will work out ok...also....what would be an accurate way of measuring how much has been decayed...the only thing i can think of is estimating the percent..but that's not very accurate.

Under a list of information I need for biology, I need to know the "family" for Mg (among other things such as boiling point and classification, which I easily found.) I can't seem to find "family" anywhere on the internet. Does anybody have any idea?

The Bible says God created the universe but it doesn't say how. Is it possible that He created it in this manner? How much of science can actually be tied into creationism?
