The Bible says God created the universe but it doesn't say how. Is it possible that He created it in this manner? How much of science can actually be tied into creationism?

Not to answer a question with a question but one should ask, what caused the big bang in the first place?
I would say “God” did not create the big bang based on what I’ve learned in my life. I am not a person of faith so I think nothing was created by “God”.
In history “God” has not always existed. There is a time and place you can find when man created “God”. What created the Universe will never be known. How can matter come from nothing? People like me don’t look to the easy answer and say an all known being created it. Life and the universe is too have such a simple story be the truth.

In a word, Yes! Even with God creating the world there would have to be an enormous amount of gasses and other combustible materials present to form a solid mass such as our planet. The result of such a large amount of these materials being combined would have to cause a huge explosion or as science would say, a "Big Bang". Unlike science, I prefer to believe that a supreme being which I choose to call God is responsible for our lives and not just some freakish explosion.
Thank you all for taking the time to read this. God Bless.

. If you read far enough it will tell you (the Bible) how God created the universe and how He made man from the dust of the ground and then took one of Adam's ribs and made a woman, which is where the antistatic came from because He put Adam into a deep sleep so he wouldn't feel any thing while He did it, and science only proves that the Bible is true. It would take more faith to believe in the "big bang" theory than to believe in the Bible. you can find out how all this happened in the book of Genesis, the first book in the Bible.

Im pretty sure that SCIENCE and RELIGION are two completely separate things....reliogious experts dont believe in the big bang....just that God created it (like magic) and scientists dont credit anything to God

God said "Let there be firmament." and there was firmament...etc. Perhaps it was the voice of God that was so Thunderous and Loud that it equaled a "Big Bang".
