I'm doing an experiment on a penny: How many drops of water can a penny hold?

The question I'm askin' Yahoo! is...

Does the side of a penny affect how much drops of water it can hold? (as in if it's heads...you get like 60 drops...but if its tails, you can only get like 49)

Your party consits of six adults and four children. While on a hike, you come upon a river which you will need to cross in order to continue on your hiking trail. At the edge of the river one of your friends find a small boat. It can accommodate only one adult at a time. Or it can accommodate at most two children. It will not hold one adult and one child at the same time. Everyone is capable of rowing the boat. So the question is how many one-way trips does it take for everyone to reach the other side? if you can explain it by an equation?

Considering that you have an open mind, and that there is a *possibility* that homosexualism is a medical condition, what is wrong with the question "homosexualism: definition, symptoms, cause, prevention, cure?"

In what ways might deleting this question be an example of homophobophobia and possibly heterophobia? Why are people closed minded to health sciences discoveries that go against the status quo?

[please note: to avoid heterophobia, to seek more intelligent answers, and due to overlaping of topics, this question has been moved to Psychology rather than Homosexuality]

I think the answer is a lot, but it is not infinate.
Tides are caused by the moons gravitational effect on the earths oceans, but equally the oceans have a gravitational effect on the moon.
This is slowing down the moon at a very very tiny rate.
If we make use of tidal energy, then we slow down the flow of water, therefore increase the rate at which the moon's orbit is being slowed, by an almost infinatesimal amount.
Anyone got an estimate for the numbers?
Presumably the total energy available is the kinetic energy of the moon: 1/2m(v squared), where m is the mass of the moon, and v is it's velocity.
But if the moon slows too much, will it's orbit not decay?
How slow can it go before we need to panic?
