Someone mentioned Kubrick. Now just supposing some Hollywood producer had the idea to set up fake moon landing movies. How does he get it into the systems and past all the technicians and controllers who manned the control centres from 1961 to the end of the Apollo missions in 1972 (and of course who still man them for the Shuttle missions).

At what point did the faking start switching in, which would have meant massive and surreptitious changing of millions of lines of software, tinkering with all the thousands of pieces of electronics, and all at some imaginary time when the thousands of controllers and technicians weren't looking.

And who was this army of technicians, engineers, software experts, graphics experts, electonics experts, who set up this scam without all the other thousands of experts being aware?

Conspiracy lovers, please give is a scenario of how and when this could have been done.

Since I couldn't get any SERIOUS answers the first time, I thought I might try it this way: I know that basal metabolism produces the energy needed just to stay alive. I know that 38% (or something to that effect) of produced energy is used for digestion. I know a person can produce enough energy to move a block their own weight. I know that whatever amount of energy that is being used for reproduction (miosis) after puberty equals the amount of energy in excess a person had before puberty. (Meaning, whatever energy your body is using to create eggs/sperm now, your body had that much energy to waste then.) Now, to figure out what percentage of cellular energy goes into the process of miosis...

Serious and scientific answers, please, people. I'm trying to use this information for a legitimate perpose, other than to woe some girl. So if you don't know, don't post.

I've been smoking cigars for about a year now, JR ultimates to be exact. They are really good house brand cigars. Today, just now as a matter of fact, I smoked a really good cigar (montecristo) and it was so good I smoked it all the way to the end.

Why is it that cigars get extremely strong towards the end and is it normal for them to get you sort of light headed if its a really strong one? In all the cigars ive smoked only this one has had this effect.

Favorites:
-Seattle: Cool vibe, the EMP, surrounding countryside is breathtaking
-Texas: Truly a "Lone Star" of a state with friendly people and a huge diversity of cultures, history, and attractions
-Mississippi: It gets a bad rap, but there's nothing like waking up & smelling the fresh smell of a Southern pine forest while eating grits
-New York City: People are rushed, not rude. You could spend a year there and still not see or experience everything
-Wyoming: Miles, miles, and miles of wide open spaces with no neighbors, just cattle, bison, elk, and glorious Tetons
-Michigan: From 1 hr. N. of Detroit & northward, it's very pretty!

Least favorite:
-Chicago: Great pubs & beachfront, but I can't spend any more than 48 hours there.
-Northern NJ and Detroit: The inner city areas are dumpy
-North Dakota: So beautiful, yet so cold in winter
-Louisville: Brags about Southern hospitality but folks are SO sour, rude and impolite to your face
-Ohio: Flat, boring, w/ rude drivers

400,000 people were involved in the Apollo missions - that was about 1 in 500 of the entire population of the USA. Look around your sports stadium next time you go see your favorite football or baseball team – on average there will be about 100 people in there who were involved in the Apollo project.

Just ask yourself: if the moon landings were fake, how the heck could you ever either fool all these people, or if they were in on it, how you would keep them all quiet.

Also, when you actually study the Apollo process, right from the first developments with the Mercury and Agena missions in the mid 1960s to the final landings in 1972, you realize how much time, effort and evolution went into the whole thing.

So, all you people who are crazy enough to listen to cr@p conspiracy stories, but who have never given much time to the actual Apollo story, please tell us sensibly at what point did it start being a fake?

ok first keep in mind that i am only in 7th grade algebra honors:
a migrating elephant herd started moving at a rate of 6 mph. one elephant stood still and was left behind. then this stray sensed danger and began to run at a rate of 10 mph to reach the herd. the stray caught up in 5min.
1:how long (in hours) did the stray run to catch up? how far did it run?
2:find the distance that the herd traveled while the stray ran to catch up. then write an expression for the total distance the herd traveled. let "x" represent the distance (in miles) that the herd traveled while the stray stood still.
3: use the distances you found in 1 and 2. write and solve an equation to find how far the herd traveled while the stray stood still.

ok remember i am only in 7th grade honors algebra, so please make it so that i understand what you put down.
