I am trying to solve a CRE problem. a)CSTR followed by PFR in series. The volumes of both are given, the entering flow rate is given. The conversion of each reactor seperately is equal to .4. We are also give a table with conversion factors and corresponding reaction rates. The question is what conversion can be acheived with these two in a series. Also, what conversion can be achieved if pfr is followed by cstr?

They are simply ignorant, and would be embarrased at their own stupidity if they bothered to actually read about it, rather than get a second hand account from their religious leaders, but it still makes me angry at the way they misrepresent science. Science is the search for the truth, religion is the search to justify existing beliefs. Am I being too harsh?

a) 0.09 M urea
b) 0.05 M CaCl2
c) 0.04 M MgSO4
d) 0.005 M NaCl

The M is molarity correct? Heres how we did it in class

CaCl2 breaks up into Ca + 2Cl so .05x3 = .15M

same with the otheres and the last value are in order of

CaCl2 = .15M
urea = .09M
Mg2SO4=.08M
NaCl = .010M

from least to greatest, so is the answer NaCl or CaCl2, I believe he said it was NaCl lower concentration make freezing point go up?

I also have a boiling point question of the same effect so does lower concentration also make boiling point go up?

I have touched the Stingrays at Sea World and swam with dozens of them at Discovery Cove in Orlando. They seem to still have their barbs. All i can find out by researching them is that they are rarely aggressive and sting only when provoked...well, this is common sense since THEY LET YOU SWIM WITH THEM! But, wouldnt Sea World HAVE to remove any barbs to eliminate the possibility of someone getting injured? There are hundreds of people who come in contact with them everyday at their parks. Is this done? or do they have their barbs? Also, how do the places in Grand Cayman have hundreds of swimmers around them without accidents like what happened to Irwin?
