I wish to create an abbreviation string in bibtex format for the following:

@STRING{MfM = "Monatshefte f\"{u}r Mathematik"}

where the \"{u} is the format for a u with an umlaut. The trouble is the symbol " which is treated as the end of the string.

Any ideas on how to avoid this problem?

HI,
The problem is:
x/800,000 = (x-1,000,000)/320,000
I can simplify to:
x = 800,000 ((x-1,000,000)/320,000)
x = 2.5 (x - 1,000,000)

Can someone please solve for X? My brain is so fried, I can't figure out what I'm doing.

Few months ago, I ran across a very funny comment about what E=MC^2 stands for...(no, it's not Energy = Mass times Constant squared) But poor me and my forgetful brain, I forgot what it was! So I thought I could ask for fellow Yahoos to help :)
