If there's a quadratic, then there'll maximum in all probability be 2 solutions. first of all, the addition approach might want to artwork completely in this gadget. upload the right sides and the left sides to get. y + 5x + 6x^2 - 13x - y = 3 - 5 be conscious how the 'y's cancel out 6x^2 - 8x = -2 Divide each and each area by technique of two 3x^2 - 4x = -a million 3x^2 - 4x + a million = 0 (3x - a million)(x-a million) = 0 x = a million ; a million/3 Now plug it into the better equation to sparkling up for y y + 5x = 3 y = 3 - 5x y = 3 - 5(a million) y = 3 - 5(a million/3) y = -2 ; 4/3 so the recommendations are ( a million , -2 ) , ( a million/3 , 4/3)

1.)
x - y = 3
x = y + 3

2(y + 3) - y = -1
2y + 6 - y = -1
y + 6 = -1
y = -7

x = -7 + 3
x = -4

ANS : (-4,-7)

-----------------------------

2.)
2x + 4y = 10
2x = -4y + 10
x = -2y + 5

3(-2y + 5) - 2y = -9
-6y + 15 - 2y = -9
-8y + 15 = -9
-8y = -24
y = 3

x = -2(3) + 5
x = -6 + 5
x = -1

ANS : (-1,3)

IF U HAVE ANY PROBLEM IN SIMULTANEOUS EQUATIONS

E-MAIL ME AT :- prateekchandrajha@rediffmail.com

@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

(1) x-y=3 ------------------------- [ i ]
2x-y=( -1) -------------------- [ ii ]

now ,,, Multiply the [ i ] equation with 2.

then , 2x-2y=6 and 2x-y= (-1)

the solution will be y= (-7) and x=(-4)

(2) 2x+4y=10
3x-2y=(-1)

now ................ multiply the first equation by 3 and the second equation by 2 .

now thw equations will be

6x+12y=30
6x-4y=(-18)

on solving the solutions will be

y = 3 and x=(-3)

thanks for gving this sum ......................................BYE BYE ******..

Spend a bit more time reading your book and working the examples they give so you understand them. That's how you get good at math.
