Oddly a lot of math problems are English problems!
Me Mom also played cards with me a lot. Count things.

there is no fast way to be a Math Wizard. youjust have to do a lot of practice and learn to live in a Math World

*Do lots of practices
*Ask help if you dont know how to solve a Math problem
*Listen attentively to your teacher explanation....

Make it sure that you love science.
Be open minded and try to express all your observation into mathematical expression no matter what it is. A sentence is void unless you could interprete it in a mathematecal formula or expression.
Practice solving problems to sharpen your mind.

I just say study hard. However love what you study. Dont spend late nights studying for something you hate.
