In the US, graduate students in the basic sciences generally have tuition covered plus a stipend, either through a TA or an RA. Is a similar package available to US citizens in any other countries?

I asked if the rest mass of a photon is still zero in non-vacuum, where it's velocity is less than c. I got the answer that it is indeed still zero, because the length of the 4-vector (E/c,px,py,pz) is zero. And because this is a flat space property it's easily generalised to other coupled fields to describe non-vacuum situations: the result still holds. Now my problem is that I don't know what a flat-space property is, i.o.w. why the four-vector is still zero.

On the weather reports they refer to dew point as something having to do with humidity. If it is 85 degrees outside, what is a comfortable (i.e. not too humid) dew point? Similarly what is a comfortable humidity percentage? Thanks.

Hi,
Here is the question I am trying to solve:
According to Newton's Second law of motion, the force F acting upon an object varies directly with its acceleration a. A force of 63N acting upon a given object results in an acceleration of 9 m/s^2. If the magnitude of the force acting upon the same object is changed to 28 N, what will the object's acceleration become?

I have been trying out how to figure the above problem for a bit, but the formulas confuse me. X_X

I really appreciate your help!

This stuff really works just like the commercials. My gf would not let me out of the house this morning after I put on my spray. They don't advertise it contains pheromones but it must contain some pheromone-like ingredient.

I have worked out that if you weigh 50 kilos this is equal to 66 bottles of wine...how quickly could this be drank. I mean if you have 5 bottles a day after 4 days presumably your liver would give up. So how quickly could you drink the 66 bottles of wine without liver failure. PS I have no intention of doing this...any Dr's out there!?
