You do realize, the more melanin in your body the more darker your skin. And there is no way you can get 'melanin' in a diet. For black hair, you Shikakai hair oil, curry leaves and eat Gooseberries.

Happy Colouring.

To your surprise, a blond and a black haired person have the SAME AMOUNT of melanin in each hair. The difference is agregation patterns, blondes have more concentrated melanin inside thier hairs, and black hair has melanin well dispersed in each hair. So hair colour is a function of melanin distribution, darker hair has its melanin well distributed, blond is trully concentrated.
Oils, paints and the likes are just cosmetics and no change in colour is possible in a human being.
