Imagine a prism where when light hits it different colors reflect off of it. Just like a rainbow. When the sun reflects off the atmosphere the same prism effects takes in to place. When the sun rises the colors that it might be hitting is less color and is harder to see in the morning hours unless you get up right before the sunrises and the color of the sky is purplish-blue. When the the sun fall it reflects more like that we can see and that is why we can see different shades of red, orange, blue-greens and purples. It is only light bouncing back from the atmosphere thus making it more visible during sunsets.

For one nobody wants to be waken up to watch a sunrise and for two... they include a different color spectrum than a sunrise. They don't have all the pinks and purples that fade into indigo. They have yellows, oranges and reds.
Most people just like the darker colors more.

Because the probability of a person`s mood being mellow is greater after a long day, so when he sees the sunset, he appreciates it more. Unlike sunrises, it can be irritating for those with hangovers...

i think because sunsets are full of orange and yellow colours but sunrise is yellow only and also because millions of people don't see the sunrise as they are still asleep but everyone watches the sunset

It's the accumulation of dust particles, basically pollution, in the air and dissipation of heat laden land masses. These particles diffuse the color spectrum and provide us with spectacular sunsets. Unfortunately the more spectacular the more pollution. You can read more and see some great pics at the link below.

well its in the matter of science, if I can remember right, uv, infrared, and some other type ofl lights, travel in different wave lengths. The temperature, barometric pressure, all of those factors changes how the light travels to you. That's the best guess I could come up with.
