I'm usually good at these types of things but I make careless mistakes which end up to hurt my grade, what should I do different?

If you are more accustomed to seeing dark skin color around you, my bet is that you are better able to see blushes (and other color changes with mood) on a dark-skinned face. It is sometimes said that even on the darkest face a blush can be seen, but it looks different than on a white person, sometimes called "blushing brown" or "the black appears to get deeper." Is any of this true? (Please, no racist jerks respond.)

I need to heat a copper pipe as hot as possible and need to arrange it to run through the fire at the best level. Some say one should blow in more air in the upper part of the flame, others think the hottest part is just above the embers.

think you might have a certain thing wrong with you, then perform all these other tests to rule out other problems before testing to determine that you have the problem they thought you did in the first place? Sounds scammy to me, money grubbing doctors.

The current state of affairs on Mother Earth are abysmal. War, debt, disease, the list goes on. Not to mention the current energy dependence on non-renewables.

If we can somehow extend the "expiration date" of human kind instead, wouldn't that be better than sending people into space, and to possibly create bases on the moon or mars, at this juncture? Why not take care of home matters first?

Keep space exploration alive and well, yes. But with satellites and robotic craft.

There may be some benefit to having a human in space...but what cost justifies that benefit?

This question is motivated upon reading of the death of Van Allen, who advocated against manned space flight.

This has been a long standing question debate among friends in an office building. If the guy is around 6 feet tall, 190 lbs and ran at his maximum speed, how far could he reasonably be expected to land away from the building?

Creationists like Kent Hovind often use something they call polystrate fossils as evidence of the new earth hypothisis. Basically they point petrified trees passing through perpendicular strata.

What is the geologists view on this if any?

Does anyone know where I can find instructions on how to build high torque robotic servo. I have purchased the most powerful R/C servos available and need more torque and travel. So I'm looking at building my own from scratch. I basically need it to function like a regular R/C servo but with much more torque and travel and it needs to plug into a standard R/C receiver. Thanks, Kevin.

I use a colour-protecting detergent in my washing machine which doesn't contain bleach, so there's not a lot to kill bacteria apart from the water temperature. If I intentionally skip the fabric freshner & leave a towel damp after washing it starts to smell after a few days, so I can only guess the wash isn't killing off bacteria.

Our hyperspace scout ships report occasional (but very rare) indications of intelligent activity on the planet the natives refer to as "Earth", however the inhabitants of that planet appear to regularly murder and war with each other with insane enthusiasm over utterly bizarre differences of personal opinion (such as "Whose god is the only REAL God?"). What evidence do you have that there is truly intelligent life on that seemingly brutal and primitively evolved thid planet from the star 'Sol' (Milky Way Galaxy, Spiral Nebula, subspace quadrant ZF-1765GH)? Would you be willing to volunteer to make first contact with its nominal highest life form (a superficially evolved species of primate named 'Homo Sapiens'), given what we know of these savage and extremely violent, but devilishly clever primitives?
