Our hyperspace scout ships report occasional (but very rare) indications of intelligent activity on the planet the natives refer to as "Earth", however the inhabitants of that planet appear to regularly murder and war with each other with insane enthusiasm over utterly bizarre differences of personal opinion (such as "Whose god is the only REAL God?"). What evidence do you have that there is truly intelligent life on that seemingly brutal and primitively evolved thid planet from the star 'Sol' (Milky Way Galaxy, Spiral Nebula, subspace quadrant ZF-1765GH)? Would you be willing to volunteer to make first contact with its nominal highest life form (a superficially evolved species of primate named 'Homo Sapiens'), given what we know of these savage and extremely violent, but devilishly clever primitives?

Since they don't have warp technology, no. Prime Directive applies, move on to another class G planet and look for intelligence in another sector.

MAY I PLEASE COME HOME NOW.................... I HAVE DONE EVERYTHING YOU HAVE ORDERED ME TO.

I eat turkey with chocolate syrup
I talk to turtles
I shove Twinkies up my who-haa twice a week
I line all of my coon-skin hats with Vaseline
I have saved all of my toenail clippings since I was 10
I never-ever eat the outside of my hot pockets
and I always keep a stick of butter in my pocket
although I hated it at first I have taken the superior being of the planet called the cat as my spouse and have had intercourse 3 times a day.
The scratches really don't hurt that much anymore, but that b*tc* still won't talk to me

I have done all you asked of me.

But, Hyperion Commander, I must report to you, that I have failed in one important task.

Even after several attempts to make contact and nearly constant surveillance I have not been able to touch the wee-wee of the Great Gifted One ............David Hasselhoff.

Please may I come home.

I don't know. I saw this wasp today. It was trying to get this big catapillar up to it's nest. It almost got there and fell but then tried to fly. It couldn't get much higher than my knee. It finally clung back on to the post and started climbing again. I got tired of watching it. Plus, I had to get back to work.
Hey I just realized that my life is much like that wasp. I carry this dream around all my life. I almost reach my dream and then I fall. Can't even fly! Then I go back to work.

No. With a minor exception in the ocean. Unfortunately they are being hunted to extinction by some malevolent bipeds that should probably be exterminated.
