I most definately believe that there is life on other planet. In a solar system as large as ours that is only a tiny spec of the universe we're in, it's hard to believe that earth is the only planet with life on it. Through technology, scientists have managed to see a large area of space and yet it is only a small percentage of what is probably there. So, yes, I do believe there are living beings on other planets. As far as aliens, the definition itself is really that an alien is lifeform not from the same location as yourself. For example, in the United States, anyone who is not a U.S. citizen is considered an alien, illegal or legal. As far as aliens in the outer space sense, yes I believe they exist

I do believe that there is alien life on other planets. How could we be the only life forms among all the vast universes out there? I also think that we are on the bottom rung of the evolutionary ladder and that is why the Aliens don't want anything to do with us. I bet they tell their offspring to stay away from the likes of us.

there are thousands of galaxies, out there, all having billions of billions of stars in them...
If only 1 star out of 1 million is habitable, then it's still very likely there are sentient beings out there other than us.
HOWEVER : there is no way they would come here and not say hi properly.
So, yes, I believe in aliens, but nowhere near earth.
PS, to the_king: the pyramid and face, on mars do not exist. They exist only on that picture. That picture was taken by a low resolution camera. Since then, we've sent probes over there to check if the face and pyramid were real: they're just normal mountains. You just can't see it with that bad picture.

Intelligent living beings? Probably but it is far more likely that they are plants, or bacteria...just like earth. It appears that life is an opportunistic mode and that it comes in as many varieties as can be imagined. Evolution has no requirement for intelligence. Bacteria have existed unchanged on earth for almost as long as there has been an earth...they have survived every extinction and are an integral part of all higher life forms. So unless bacteria or plants can fly flying saucers then aliens don't exist.

Even if life is a one-in-a-billion long shot, there would still be billions and billions of other life-forms out there. Some may not be much more advanced than moss or seaweed, some may be advanced far beyond us.
But, if Einstein was correct and there is no way around the 'light barrier' (Star Trek 'Warp Drives' included ), then we'll have a very difficult time ever comminicating with them.

There are probably thousands of other civilizations on other planets. Just because we haven't seen any aliens here on earth doesn't mean there aren't any. Stephen Hawking answers that question by concluding that the reason we have not been visited by any other life forms from other planets is because by the time they reach our level of technological advancements, they destroy themselves.

yeah this is Cydonia Mars!! An ancient civilation on Planet Mars.
Notice the pyramids and the face.
And besides, as big as our solar system is, and there are others the same size and bigger, and there is no life?!?! YEAH RIGHT!!!
If you believe that then you are ignorant to common sense!!

Yes, there is life on other planets. The universe is so vastly huge that to think otherwise is just silly.
