We found a caterpillar on a butterfly weed plant and I know it is not a Monarch. It is black and has "hair" like things sticking out here and there.

Right now there is a terrible heat wave in the northeastern US. Temperatures of up to 104 F (30 C). In winter it can get to -2 F (-19 C). Plus, of course, there is humidity to make it feel hotter in summer, and wind chill to make it feel colder in wihter. I like that we have varied seasons here, and the extremes are not as bad as in other places, even in the US. I have friends in Arizona, and Minnesota, and they really get hit!

Which do you like least? I think on balance I like the heat less. You can always get under the covers in the cold, but you can't do much if it's too hot. As I age I like the cold less and less, though. And at least there's no snow to shovel, or ice to fall on! I need more insulation for my drafty old house!

Any comments? Thanks.

ok first of all , please discuss scientifically and fairly and seriously regardlerss of your beliefs.

in the qoran in 1400 years ago it is stated that angels are made of light. and it mentiones that angels travel in one day the same distance that the moon travels in 1000 lunar years, that is, 12000 Lunar Orbits / Earth Day.

and so we can calcutate the speed of angles in this way.which calculated to the speed of light 299792.5 km/s

here is the link for the calculations and **** please tell me your ideas as people who love astronomy and space.link:

i'm working on a science project that involves effectively killing a certain kind of fungi (we are also debating on whether or not to use Aspergillus niger or Candida albicans) that is pathogenic to human beings.

i've researched a couple of antifungal chemicals found in plants such as Eugenol (-- is this even non-toxic to the human body?), which greatly found in cloves. the problem is, it has already been done and documented before.

i need either another plant that contains that contains a great amount of that chemical (eugenol) or find some other chemical and plant altogether.

people who are in the know, much help please!
