I was doing the electrolysis on water and these dots showed up where the oxygen was forming, on the aluminum. Someone said it was AlHO4, a toxic alkaline base. Help! Am I going to be okay? I didn't touch it or anything.

With the table below as an example, what is the best way to measure relative momentum, comparing EACH DAY TO THE PREVIOUS DAY? Each of the numbers in the table represents the number of stocks up minus the number of stocks down on the New York Stock Exchange each day. I have been doing it thus far by simply measuring percent change and then removing the negative signs. On a related issue, my numbers don't look correct the last two days. For instance, is a move from 7 to -749 really a greater percentage change than from -749 to 1611. The latter seems like a much larger move percentage wise, but according to the excel formula =(a1-a2)/abs(a2), it's not.

8/2: 1611/ 315.09%
8/1: -749/ -10800.00%
7/31: 7/ -99.65%
7/28: 2020/ 541.05%
7/27: -458

I was doing an experiment with water electrolysis, and I'm wondering, if I collect a test tube full of hydrogen, and release it into the air, without igniting it, what will happen? And if I release it outside, will there be enough heat to get the reaction going? (It's around 96 degrees Fahrenheit here today, or around 35.5 degrees Celsius.) I want to release the hydrogen when I'm finished, but I don't know what will happen. Thanks!

I know that sceintist haven't discovered any clear cut evidence of transitional species. Where is the evidence you rely on that explains the missing transition between animals? Also if there were millions of neoandrathals on earth why can't we find any fossils of them? Also why didn't the neoandrathals survive via natural selection instead of chimps, apes, etc? They seem like they would have the natural advantage over such animals.

Please only serious/eductated replies. Give me some evidence, please don't just go off saying ignorant things. I honestly am seeking someone to shed some light on these areas of the evolution theory.

The deeper we look, the older stars are, of course, light travels greater distance, but aren´t quasars the same age considering they were born with the big bang along with other galaxies??, I cannot understand this concept about earlier universe in its present state.
