The insect seems to have one set of wings covered by a pair of dark orange cases. The Orange extends a little bit onto the shoulders. Two variations of the insect have appeared (male and female?). One is 7mm long with an all black body. The other is 12mm long with an lighter orange abdomen. They have six long legs (a bit like a mosquito) and feathered antennae. They have small eyes and I can't any proboscis. On both the abdomen tapers to a blunt point, but hte larger of the two has what looks like an ovipositor or a sting.
Does anyone know what they are?

Asking a question raise the curiosity to know certain facts. The question also suggest an answer and help people to find out a solution. Negative marks for question discourage the habit of enquiry and hence the qualitative questions. There is no answer if there is no question. Does it seem desirable to award atleast some marks, may be lesser than answer, for a question?

By measuring the time delay betwen the pulsing from several points we should be able to get acurate distance to the Pulsar.

Since the pulsing affect "travels" a lot fater then the speed of light i guess extra acurate mesurment are needed, and probebly it can't be made on earth.

Do we already have the technology for it and if not how far away the measuring points need to be to be able to do it with the current technology?

P=1,0,0,-1 Q=0,i,-i,0 R=0,1,1,0 in 2 by 2 matrices show that (R,P) = RP - PR = 2iQ
Note: the first two elements are for the first row in that order. e.g. in P=1,0,0,-1.....1 and 0 is first row, while 0 and -1 is second row in that order.
