"WHY" not
"HOW" or "WHEN"

because if it hadn't happenned, you wouldn't be here to talk about it...

that's "why" you're asking this question... as for "why" it happenned, that's simply because the conditions were met for it to hapen, so it did.

How would a lot easier to answer with current cosmological theories. But Why could be answered that the Big Bang happened because it Had to, in the likeness of the anthropic principle, because otherwise there would be no one to ask the question. But there are some theories that seem to address what you may be asking. For example, in extremely shortened words, before the big bang there was nothing, no space, no time, just quantum fluctuations that must sooner or later (it doesn't matter because there was no time) become unstable and erupt into something from nothing. Except that that "nothing" is a wierd quantum state that contains potential. Think of potential as in potential energy. A ball held in your hands has potential energy. But when you drop it, that potential transforms into kinetic energy, or energy in motion. So, again, a potential is a sort of nothing that has the "potential" to become "something"!

The Big Bang created movement in the Universe, in fact, it is still happening today. The Universe was much smaller in the beginning, because of the size it was extremely hot. The heat mixed with the balls of gases that we now call planets, exploded outward expanding the Universe. As the Universe expanded, it cooled. As the planets cooled, they solidified and seemed to draw towards the heaviers planets. In our case, the sun (which is a star) is the heaviest and this created 'orbits'. The Big Bang is much like the sun's life cycle. Search for the life cycle of the sun. You will see the sun has explosions in the core that push gases ooutward, as they go further out they cool, just to drop back down and repeat the cycle. It is very interesting, worth a read.

see there was no reason for the big bang to happen.actually it happened so that before the big bang there was nothing in this vast universe.but mass and energy was there and the big bang happened with a scientific reason behind it and it was that you must be knowing that energy can be converted into mass and vice versa and so the big bang took place

I can answer this question. And I can do it using ninjas.

Okay, check this out:

Before the beginning there was nothing, right?

But you can't have nothing, not really.

Because there is this thing called a vacuum fluctuation. In a Vacuum fluctuation small subatomic particles and anti-particles are created at random. These particles then quickly destroy each other, creating a net gain of zero mass and energy.

To picture this, imagine two ninjas of opposing clans suddenly appearing before each other. They instantly flip out and kill each other, resulting in zero ninjas operating in that area. This therefore does not violate the law of the conservation of ninjas.

With me?

Okay, so these random, apparently self-creating particles have varying energies. The important thing to remember is that they are always balanced by an anti-particle so that there is enough negative energy and mass to balance any positive energy and mass.

Eventually, given enough time, a particle will appear in the vacuum fluctuation that is neither negative nor positive. This particle has zero charge and zero energy.

But that does not compute with the laws of physics, which abhor a vacuum. This particle begins to expand space-time as it tries to basically fill itself up. The fabric of space time stretches much faster than the current speed of light. And remember all those self creating particles? Well they can't annihilate each other anymore because space-time stretches them so far apart so quickly that they never come into contact.

To picture this imagine the two warring ninjas again. Now imagine they are surrounded by food. In the middle of the food is a third ninja, only this ninja is really hungry because he is empty inside and like, has to eat really, really bad. SO he goes crazy and eats all the food. He then gets really fat. So fat that now the other two ninjas have to fight while standing on the third ninja's fat butt. Only his butt is growing so fast that now they can't find each other and therefore cannot flip out and kill each other as God intended.

All the energy in the universe is a direct or indirect result of this fluke in the properties of vacuum fluctuation. This fluke is so powerful that it gave birth not only to our own universe but to countless others at the same time. We happen to live in one wherein the laws of physics are such that we and all complex matter - and ninjas- can exist. It’s called an Inflationary Universe.

The crazy thing is that gravity acts as a negative force for all the mass in the universe and so you still get a net result of zero energy. If it wasn't for the force of the inflation then we would get sucked back together in a Big Crunch. This would be like if the fat ninja suddenly sat down.

Hope this helps.

The Big-Bang is just a theory as to how the Earth Came into being!

Like all other unproved theories, it is just one.

The other Bang is reral sweet. Why worry about the olden theory of Big Bang?

You know when you are in motion mostly when you are unstable same thing happened in the case of Big Bang. A hyper mass enclosed in a small space got unstable with the generation of heat and explosion took place
