I know moths eat holes in clothing, but will they eat a 100% wool suit? Oh and please don't answer if you don't really know.

It isnt the adult moths that feed on clothing, it is the larvae of the "clothes moth" that do most of the damage. They resemble any other caterpillar, but are typically quite small and usually uniformly colored. The larvae will actually eat wool, so yes, they will eat 100% wool as well. Once they have completed their development, they will pupate (form the cocoon) out of the wollen material.
The adults will emerge, mate and lay eggs again, and the whole cycle starts all over again.
The best prevention is to actaully lay down mothballs in the closet, they release an odour that deters the moths from laying in that area, so throw a buch inthe bottom of your closet and you shold not have a problem.
I hope that answers your question!
Good Luck!

Yes - well technically it is their larvae, i.e. the clothes moth larvae, that feed on wool, among other things (cf. http://ohioline.osu.edu/hyg-fact/2000/2107.html ).
