She read this in a news paper and I have heard nothing in the news confirming it. Has anyone heard any thing about this?

Mars may appear bigger then usual but no way it will become as big as a full moon. if that is true... we are in BIG trouble and you better pray from now on...
no. it is impossible. read some astrynomy book and you will find out that mars is too far from us that it will nv look like that.
by the way, i also got the same e-mail telling me about this. but i just ignore and deleted it.

She's either pulling your leg and/or the newspapers have got it stuffed up, yet again.
Mars NEVER comes close enough to the Earth to appear the size of the Full Moon (or any lunar phase for that matter), and if it ever did, we would be in a heap of trouble. Because that would mean something upset the orbital dynamics of the planets, and that something would be rather substantial. Like a brown dwarf, large gas giant planet, or a small star. Let alone having Mars careening on its merry way through the Solar System!!!.

No way! bunch of lies. It is imposible for the mars planet to be as big as the moon, it would mean it falls to the sun at an amazing rate.

No I think the earth is coming closer to mars... that's why it's so hot in Holland... pfuu

then we would have a problem cause if it's coming closer that fast... it probably will crash against us...
