Is it possible to create a track for a space ship to dock with and gain momentum using solar energy. At the desired velocity, if the ship left its tracks would it not take alot less fuel to sustain that speed?

Could some properties of dark energy (if it truly exists) help us break the speed barrier? Would we have to discover how to freeze ourselves? Is there speed differentiations throughout space? Are there pathways in space that are connected through gravity, creating natural worm holes? Are blackholes capable of being wormholes? Do wormholes exist? Is there a way of jumping the folds of space? If we were to reach the speed of light, could we essentially jump those folds? Is it simply impossible to achieve those speeds? What's your thoughts and please include some sort of scientific data or web sites to verify that its a well founded opinion.

When a person is determined to be brain dead, and organ donation approved, it is my understanding that ventilation and other methods continue to be used to keep the blood flowing through the organs. What would be the effect on the organs if life support were first withdrawn to allow the person to die in every sense of the word? How much would be lost if organs were then harvested?

I ask because I think I'd be more comfortable allowing donation after a loved one's heart had stopped beating. Strange, because I had a son die at 15 for lack of enough hearts. Still, I want to know.

I'm an agnostics, whom believes generally in evolution, but I find the common explanation a bit far-fetched or rather I just can't picture it.

The earth is 4.57 billion years old, and us humans have been here roughly 2.2 million years ie the first 'homo'. Now personally, I'm sure we're not as complicated as what I thinks most likely is out in space, but I find it hard to reason how we developed from a single cell life form. Anyone have a chart of life's path from that to us...which would make some sense out of this?

I'm not saying there is or isnt' a god or that someone planted us here, but the conventional explanation of evolution is just not clear in my head. Could someone demonstrate a timeline that makes sense of earth's inhabitance from it's creation?

I know the idea sounds very outlandish but I think it may serve many purposes. I would think that this station could help power the new space tourisim industry. Also, we may be able to absorb enough of the sun's light to help reduce global warming.

Our universe has vast clumps of matter (stars, galaxies, quasars, etc.) The parallel universes move through this 11th dimension like waves, and these waves could ripple like most usually do. The ripples went on to cause the clumps of matter after the big bang. Our universe is one of an infinite number of membranes, just one of the many universes which make up the multiverse.

I'm going to start school soon and plan on studying Biology. I love animals and absolutely think they are very interesting to learn about. Now my question is should I continue on recieving my bachelors in Biology or Zoology? I know a BA in Zoology isn't very useful when trying to get jobs as apposed to BA in Biology. But I certainly think I'd be more interested in Zoology. Any Zoologist out there have adivce for me? Also what jobs have you gotten with either degree?
