My husband used to have that happen to him ALOT. The docs finally tested him for allergys and that was the cause. He is allergic to animal dander.
We wondered for about 4 years, and it took his regular doc a while to figur it out.

perhaps its a ear infection. there are tubes in your inner ear that connect with your throat infection can start in ear and spread to throat. Only a physician that examines you can tell for sure . The medicines doc gave you,.... you can cross check them to see what they are used for, this may help you ...also always ask about your medicines and what are they for ...always ask your doctor or his nurse whats my diagnosis?? they don't give you medicine if they don't know whats going on with you ..that would be stoopid! U must ask more questions although you are the patient you are also a paying customer and your satisfaction is is the most important part of medicine or good business

Try to drink a lots of warm water.....
Eat more fruits and veges.....
Go to the pharmacy and get yourself an antiseptic for sore throat in a form of liquid which to be goggled every night before you go to bed.......
and also ear drop or oil to stop the itch in your ears.....
Still doesn't work, better get some advice from a specialist.......
Good Luck!!!

Don't take medical advice from non doctors. Go see an ENT, an ear-nose-throat doctor; they specialize in those types of problems, and they would be far better suited to serve you than a general or family physician. Your family doctor can refer you.

Good luck!

You probably have allergies. I have had these when my allergies were bad. Try using bynedril or claritin every day to prevent the problem. They are probably drying out. This will cause the histomines to not go crazy. Hope you feel better.

The same things happen to me alot. I am just allergic to everything. It gets really bad when I am around a new animal or the wind changes direction. Sudefed, Claritin, or Allegra all seem to help. A nasal inhaler will also help.

Allergies? I get an itchy roof of my mouth and itchy ear when my seasonal allergies start up. Taking an antihistamine will help if it's allergy induced.

Go see another doctor until someone is able to help you. And perhaps see a specialist right away.
