having trouble with converting between those coordinate systems. i know how to do it for points, but not for equations...

given in cylindrical coordinates

r=4sin(theta)

express the equation in rectangular coordinates...

<<< answer is x^2+(y-2)^2=4 >>>

um, how do i do that?

also...

given in spherical coordinates...

rho sin (theta) = 2 cos(theta)

<<< answer is (x-1)^2+y^2=1 >>>

express equation in rectangular coordinates...

um, same thing, i don't know how to do this... the book doesn't provide any examples for this and the professor didn't go over it, only went over converting points. it seems like it shouldn't be that hard of a problem, but i don't know how to start it. if anyone could, please help explain how to convert these equations... thanx in advance.

how the hell 1s 6=9???????????SOS
if you have a knowledge of mathematics, you would know that any number divided by zero is meaningless.and the proof is as follows:
when a dividend is divided by a divisor, the product of the divisor and the quotient must be eqaul to the dividend.but when a number x is divided by zero and assume that the quotient is y:
this means x/0=y,0.y=x is false because if we take x to be 2 for example,2=0 is a false statement.but if x=0 then 0/0=b,0=0 which is a true statement.therefore the s.s={R}.
let's explain what it means.we mean now that 6=0/0,5=0/0,9=0/0,any number=0/0.and there is something more interesting:6=100=200=5=0/0.how the hell is this trus???
or is the errore from me? please help....

In theory using this when you are terminally ill to be brought back by future generations with the means to repair the damage.
How do you go about looking for info on it and how much would it cost.Is there actual proof of it working or is it jut a scam to grab dying peoples money and give them hope?

Work is the amount of force needed to cause a displacement and is measured in joules. One joule = 1 Newton * meter.

Hence, here is the problem:

Take "Sam" deciding whether to walk or ride his bike uphill. This hill is steep, and has a 30 degree angle upward. There are 300 meters to travel on this hill with no change in the angle.

Sam weighs approximately 90 kilograms and his bike weighs 10 kilograms.

His bike is standard with multiple gear shifts for climbing uphill. Assume that he shifts to the "optimum" level to pedal continuously without stopping.

If possible, also answer which requires more calories? I would assume the one that requires more "work" requires more calories.
