Botulin toxin is possibly the most acutely toxic substance known, with a lethal dose of about 200-300 pg/kg, meaning that somewhat over a hundred grams could kill every human on earth (for perspective, the rat poison Strychnine, often described as highly toxic, has an LD50 of 1 mg/kg, or 1 billion pg/kg).

It is not banned, but used in cosmetics.....

The poison known as batrachotoxin is the most potent in the world. It is a neurotoxin that attacks the nervous system by depolarizing neurons through an increase in sodium while maintaining local levels of potassium. This halts the Na-K gradient and causes paralysis. A dose of only 1 micro-gram is enough to kill a human. The Golden Poison Frog (Phyllobates terribilis)carries only one mg of poison, yet can still kill up to 20 people. Poison dart frogs and also a couple of species of birds are also found to harbor batrachotoxins.

Any poison is potent in the right amounts... believe it or not but even water kills if used at the right time.

But if i were to choose a poison, i would have to say Hydroflouric acid... there is no antidote unless acted upon within moments of skin contact.
All othe poisons either have antidotes, or require digestion rather than simple skin contact.

There are simply too many to list. Many come from nature (plants, animals, minerals), and many are man made (with Dioxin being the most potent). But, note, many of the plants we grow in our garden will kill you stone dead in three minutes if you were to eat them. So, they are all around us.
