It's not just because any number multiplied by zero is equal to zero. You should use postulates and axioms.

Sometimes, when I wake up in the morning, my eyes will open but I'm unable to move! I try and I try - nothing happens! I can see things around me moving in real time but I can't interact with them! I feel as though I'm paralyzed! Why is this? Does anyone else experience this?

I've read that it's classed as high risk, and a supervolcano. And that hundreds of thousands of years ago, there were such massive blasts of ash from its explosions that they covered about half of what is now the contiguous United States. Another explosion could send the world into darkness and kill millions. Likely? Any sort of speculation, scholarly or otherwise, is welcome. ;)

Or is it like the Heisenberg Uncertainity principle?
As soon as you start observing your thoughts they change? So in effect you can never really observe your present thoughts but you can remember the old ones.

I just watched Al Gore's movie, "An Inconvenient Truth", which is about global warming. I must say, I was impressed, or should I say worried, that global warming may actually be true.

However, I'm trying to scour the internet for more information. I found an anti-global warming website (see below). Are there any legitimate scientists out there who want to clarify the issue?

The main arguement the anti-global warming website makes is that nature produces 180 billion tons of CO2 a year, while human activity only increases that by 6 billion tons. Supposedly, that is insufficient to affect the climate.

However, Gore's movie shows considerable historical information about steadily rising temperatures and the amount of CO2 in the upper atmosphere.

What's the truth???

Charles Darwin published his theory of evolution in the book, The Origin of Species, in 1859. At first, many people at the time rejected Darwin's idea. Even though the shook the world, please keep in mind that Darwin, of course, did not invent the theory.
As part of my research, I would like to find out how many people today still reject the theory, and why. Religion? Disgust? Do you have some other idea for the theory of evolution?
