Global warming has led to an increase in average strength of tropical storms and hurricanes, so I'd say the consequences are quite serious.

Global warming is "GLOBAL", it does not affect certain areas and leave other areas alone... it affects ALL AREAS.
Because in some areas we have not the records to see the affect then we may not be aware of a problem in our local area until too late.
I recommend asking an elderly person form your area to find out what the weather was like when they were younger... it may be very differnt.

of course there will be a lot of consequnces the huge galcries of ice wil melt that will lead to the increase of the percentage of the water thise will effect all the contintes and countries their will be lots of floood . the countries will not be produce certain amount of vegetables and fruits due the increase of tempruter a lot of people will be hungry huricans wil increas those will effect all countries and cities carolina is one of them
