What is this, a high school homework question?? Listen, I'll give you a hint:

Use the distance formula for 2 points to figure out the diameter
divide by 2 to get the radius
use the midpoint formula to find the center of the circle

then you can use the center and the radius to write the standard formula for the circle.

draw an x-y graph...the difference in x is 6 and the difference in y is 8. use the pythagorean theory thing to solve for the diameter of 10. radius is 5, center point is (1,7). (x-1)^2 + (y-7)^2 = 25. i think.

Length of diameter (using distance formula) = 10 units
Length of radius = 5 units
Co ordinates of the center = (1,7)

just apply the distance formula man!
the diameter comes out to be 10 units, and the radius, is thus, 5 units.

center coordinates are : (1, 7)

D = sqrt((x2 - x1)^2 + (y2 - y1)^2)

(-2,3) and (4,11)
D = sqrt((4 - (-2))^2 + (11 - 3)^2)
D = sqrt((4 + 2)^2 + 8^2)
D = sqrt(6^2 + 64)
D = sqrt(36 + 64)
D = sqrt(100)
D = 10

Radius = d/2
R = 10/2
R = 5

To find the center of the circle, just find the midpoint of the circle

M = ((x2 + x1)/2),((y2 + y1)/2)

(-2,3) and (4,11)
M = ((4 - 2)/2),((11 + 3)/2)
M = (2/2),(14/2)
M = 1,7

ANS :
Diameter = 10
Radius = 5
M = (1,7)

----------------------------

And just in case you have any other questions

(x - h)^2 + (y - k)^2 = r^2

h = 1
k = 7
r = 5

(x - 1)^2 + (y - 7)^2 = 5^2
(x - 1)^2 + (y - 7)^2 = 25

That's not too hard.
-2 and 4, so 6
3 and 11, so 8
6 squared is 36
8 squared is 64
So, 100, square root is ten.
So the lenght of the diameter is ten (units)
So the radius is five.
and the center would be the midpoint, so (1,7)

See, not too bad.

dia:sqrt[4-(-2)]*2+(11-3)*2]
=sqrt[36+64]
=sqrt100
=10 units
rad:5 units
cen:-2+4/2=1
3+11/2=7
(1,7)

hi, why no longer upload the photos so as that we are in a position to help? Edit: properly, I actually have a question. what share questions/problems are there? perhaps, such as you pronounced, you're able to desire to upload snapshots of the questions. Edit 2: right here comes a lifesaver below. super!
