Trying to Conceive - November 2007

I am on my first cycle of clomid and didnt get my period so i tested twice and got 2 positives. The clomid can't affect the result can it?

I am currently being diagnosed PCOS (elevated testosterone level in first blood test), and I am going back for a second blood test this Wednesday to test for LH. I already have hypothyroidism (Hashi's), and this just adds an incline to the uphill climb to becoming pregnant. Because of this DX, we have decided to immediately TTC (well, at the appropriate time, of course). Does anyone have any suggestions, or advice from when they started? When you were first diagnosed (if spontaneously, like me), did you wait to try any meds?

I am looking for women with PCOS. Please, do not answer unless you understand the question, and are either a woman with PCOS, or you are a medical professional. I'm not trying to be rude, but I have posted many questions where people who have no idea what they are talking about answer. It's annoying!

last period was nov 4th i have a 28 day cycle
we baby danced calender days 10,11,12,13,14,15,16
ovulation was around calender day 13-14-15 pos opk on calender day 13
im now on calender day 21 i have had cramping period type on and off for 4 days more at night than in the day
my gums bleed as soon as i brush my teeth not normal for me and i can smell things that before i couldnt if you know what i mean. sense of smell for raw meat and blood makes me feel sick
i also keep getting shooting pains in my boobs
i still have 7 days before my period is due what do you think

does anyone know of any.?

i have been ttc for a year now and im cycle number 2 of 50mg clomid..

normally when i ovulate i get a pain so i know ive ovulated. on cycle 1 of the clomid i didnt feel any pain so i thought i didnt ovulate. when i went for my x ray they told me that both my tubes were open and all was well

when i asked the gyn about upping the dose of clomid he checked my blood results and told me that i ovulated....

so now im on cycle 2 of clomid and stil on 50mg,, im getting really anoyed.. i just want a baby..... and its really making me depressed..

does anyone else ttc have any advice.. i know im about to get my af and its just put me on a real downer that the clomid isnt working as well as i thought it would.

im looking for a site that i can ask lots of questions on!? like a fertility site or something similar...

What did you try while TTC, what worked and what didn't?
Hi;) I'm TTC but I have very irregular cycles and no apparent ovulation. I have an appointment at a doctor (fertility specialist) but it's not until january. So until then I'd like to try things "on my own". What would you suggest? What did you try? did it work or not? I've been trying for like 1 year 1/2 and I'm really tired of waiting for it to happen!!!!!! it would mean the world to me if anyone had answers :)

Through November 8th to the 10th I was experiencing cramping in my stomach. My fiance came to visit me for a four day weekend. We offcourse had our intercourse (and yes we are trying to conceive) We had intercourse from the 10th to the 13th. My last cycle was in October 22nd...I started spotting yesterday (November 23) I spotted for the morning and it stopped by the afternoon, I spotted a small amount this morning and it stopped. I just visited the doctor they gave me a urine sample but the test came out negative. Could I still be pregnant?

I've been married for 2 years and fixing to have a baby boy in 3 weeks. I graduated with my accounting degree in May of this year and found out I was pregnant right before I graduated. I tried to get a job while i was pregnant but no luck so me and my husband thought it would be best if we waited until after the baby came. I plan on finding an accounting job or some kind of job in february or march. Our finances are ok, were not able to save anything right now but we plan on it when i get a job. I'm just wondering if I should be doing more at my age or more accomplished. I feel bad that I haven't worked since I graduated in May but I feel like I have the rest of my life to work after my baby boy gets here. I've worked on and off at banks since I was 19 and retail stores.

last period, i think it was a period, 10/19/2007, 2 tests after being 6 days late, and a blood test that came back negative as well. hello- I am wondering how many women have problems conceiving and are vegetarians?? I have been a vegetarian for half my life (i am 30 now) and am starting to wonder if my diet is impacting our ability to get and/or maintain pregnancy. Over to past 19 months of TTC, i think 3 or 4 of those months i miscarried (very early). My BBT looks great; however my cycle is a bit long (35-38 days) which i have read can be a result of eating too much soy. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks so much!!

When I took the test this morning the test line had a skinny dark line with a shadowy line next to it. The darker line was much skinnier than the control line. Is this a positive result or neg?? I'm also have lots ewcm and my temp was a 97.1 wed, yesterday 96.5 and today it is a 97 I am on CD 13.

Hi, My husband and I are TTC and With my ovulation approaching anyday , I am hoping to become pregnant, so it can be our own little Christmas Miracle... I'm 34 and my Husband is 39 and we have no children so our clock is tic tocing away. But my question is, If I do become pregnant, would it be safe for my Dr to run an Ultrasound. I would be almost 6 weeks pregnant by then? I would want to give one of the Ultrasound Pics to My Mom and His Parents for a christmas gift. I just wouldnt want to do anything harmful....

Hi! I've been TTC for two months now. This month I went online and did a ovulation calculator. I did the baby dance every other day, during those days. As of yesterday, I was a week away from getting AF, but I wasn't having the normal cramping from pms. My breasts were heavy, and I felt a slight tinge of nasuea. Having 3 kid's already, I figured something was up. I went to the store and got a dollar tree test. I took one yesterday afternoon. Right away it went to the one line, not pregnant. I went back in there, 5-10 minutes after the time limit, and saw a faint second line. So thinking maybe it was an evaporation line, I held my urine for four hours, and took another one. I went back and checked it five minutes later, and there already was a very faint second line. I went back in at the time limit (10 mins) and it was still there! I can't believe it! I am not due for AF until the 29th, and I still got a positive already!

Hiya, I took a clearblue digital pregnacy test last Sunday night which come back 'Pregnant' BUT since then I've gone a little crazy a taken another 5 which have all come up 'Not Pregnant' I'm so confussed. I'm not on any medication or anything that could effect this result. My periods aren't that regular but I am now a few days later than my longest cycle. I'm not spending anymore on pregnacy tests!
