I don't think Clomid affects the result of a HPT. HPTs only measure the level of HCG. To make sure you could look at the packaging of the Clomid and see if it has any in it.
If you have gotten 2 positives, you should call your doctor to confirm with a blood test, this just might be it for you!
Good luck!

Girl.. I do believe your preggo! congratulations. false positives are very very rare... false negatives are more common. I am also on my first cycle of clomid (11/23). I am doing it 3-7. I am having only one side affect - extreme moodiness! I hope you are a clomid success story! I am praying that my partner and I are also a CLOMID success story. What a wonderful holiday for you!

if you test early and get a positive, there is a chance that the fertilized egg did implant BUT if it wasn't healthy enough to keep developing into a perfect healthy baby then it will misscarry and alot of times it will happen during when you'd normally get your period so it is best to wait and test until your missed period or 18 days after ovulation with high temps during those days.
i highly doubt the clomid would affect the results!!

YES taking clomid can cause false positives due to the fact that is made of pure HGC. BUT .... you said you are late for your period and THAT is why you took a few tests, then you are more than likely preggers. because, the time frame that you can get false positives is within a week after taking it. so i would say you are pregnant its too late in your cycle to get a false positive.

The *only* reason you might get a false positive is if you had a trigger shot. You don't mention it, so I assume you didn't.
Congratulations! You're pregnant!

Not to my knowledge.
False positives are almost unheard of.
False negatives are more common.
Congratulations! It sounds like you're going to be a mommy! :)
Make a doctor's appointment to be sure, though, of course.
