When I took the test this morning the test line had a skinny dark line with a shadowy line next to it. The darker line was much skinnier than the control line. Is this a positive result or neg?? I'm also have lots ewcm and my temp was a 97.1 wed, yesterday 96.5 and today it is a 97 I am on CD 13.

I got a migraine wed night around 10pm and it didn't go away until thurs afternoon. I only get this once a month, it is unusal for me to get migraines.

I took another dip stick test and it is definetly neg. When I used the mid-stream test last month(same brand) it was pos at 8am. Is there a difference between mid-stream and dip stick?

usually by the time you get a positive opk it's too late to get pregnant (read "taking charge of your fertility") your cervical mucus is the most reliable method of knowing when you can conceive... I'm with the other response... bd now!!!

You're supposed to test later in the day. The LH hormone is synthesized as the day progresses, even if you're going to surge the levels wont be high enough until later in the day to get the right result on the OPK. You shouldnt test in the morning. Its not a pregnancy test.

If you got a skinny line you probably will have surged today, which means you ovulate tomorrow some time. Its late in the evening, I would take another test, or take one tomorrow. Just to make sure the surge is today and not tomorrow.

Either way, have sex today and tomorrow, or today and the day after tomorrow, that will cover all the bases.
