I've been married for 2 years and fixing to have a baby boy in 3 weeks. I graduated with my accounting degree in May of this year and found out I was pregnant right before I graduated. I tried to get a job while i was pregnant but no luck so me and my husband thought it would be best if we waited until after the baby came. I plan on finding an accounting job or some kind of job in february or march. Our finances are ok, were not able to save anything right now but we plan on it when i get a job. I'm just wondering if I should be doing more at my age or more accomplished. I feel bad that I haven't worked since I graduated in May but I feel like I have the rest of my life to work after my baby boy gets here. I've worked on and off at banks since I was 19 and retail stores.

You sound pretty good. I have my degree and wish I was making more money but since I have an almost 3 year old and one on the way I work part-time away and part-time at home so I can spend more time with my daughter. I could go get a full time great job making a lot of money but then I would never be there for my daughter. It's a sacrifice we have to make as mothers. Good luck!

You are doing wonderful for your age. I am 21 and just now started college this fall. I have been married for over 4 years and already have a 15 month old baby. It would have been easier for me to go to college if I would have went sooner than now. Do not doubt yourself.

Listen, you are way better off than most girls your age or younger that I know. The only thing is . . . saving will be even harder after the baby is born. But enjoy your time off and time with the baby before you start working again.
