There are always sales. Plus, you dont know when you will become pregnant, and what season you will need the clothes in. You usually start wearing maternity clothes anywhere from 12-16 weeks, so it's fine to just wait until you become pregnant.

It's all in how much you want to spend. I found I could wear some of my own clothes most of the way through. Whenever I started getting short on clothing or sad about not having anything new, I would go out and get one or two of what I need. That way, I ended up with just a few good maternity clothes - yet not a ton, so it was easy to box them up and store them for the next pregnancy. Also - you go into clothes shopping withdrawal, even if you don't shop much. You see a nice pair of new jeans and feel grumpy because it'll be over a year (including postpartum) until you can buy something that'll fit long-term. So save up shopping until you need it, both mentally and physically. Clearance racks are always there.

I would hold off for now. I know that the excitment kind of overtakes things but you dont know how long it will actually take you to get pregnant and once you are, then you have at least four months before you may need maternity clothes. If it does happen to be in the spring or summer, there are always good sales on. I would try to holf off for now, besides, you want stuff that is current and in style right?? Best of luck to you!

Personally I wouldn't. We're on our fifth cycle ttc and I just think if I had bought stuff 5 months ago they would be in the wardrobe not getting used and they may not be the appropriate type of clothing for the season I might need them. I'm not superstitious but I also wouldn't like to think I might jinx our chances but buying things too early. There will always be other sales.
Good luck!

I would wait to buy the clothes. Motherhood maternity is always having great sales. Just keep your mind focused on making the baby and then go buy the clothes.

WAIT until you're pregnant. Buying clothes now will psychologically affect you and TTC is hard enough without extra stress there. Just enjoy the process of making a baby and worry about clothes when you actually get pregnant.
Good luck.

Just wait. There will be lots of sales and cuter clothes. You do not know which season you will be in.
You will have plenty of time. You will not even need then for the first few months.
I know how exciting it can be. But I promise you will find great clothes when you need them.
