Trying to Conceive - March 2007

ok here goes.... my friend just made 22 and she has 2 guy friends... 1 is 20 years old and they had sex 4 the 1st tyme last month, she may be pregant 4 him.... the next 1 is 29 years old and she is really in love with him and she wants to marry him, the guy who she slept with and may be pregant 4 happened as she and her 29 year old b/f was going through some problems...

my question is what is she to do?? any advice on what i can do to help her??

i had the depo way back in august 2005 only ever had one as it messed me up quite badly, i have just had my first period feb 25th 2007 and i have just had a 2nd on 12th march literaly 2 weeks apart, i was wondering if it is suposed to be like this, is this just the depo coming out of my system at last? and is it safe to start trying for a baby now? how long did it take others to conceive after the depo and did your periods take along time to regulate again after?

I have been trying with my husband for 12 months now i have been following ovulation calanders etc with no luck. is there something wrong with me? my hubby wont see a fertility doctor and i have not been able to get time off work. i am 23 and he is 23 also. its so frustrating bc we sooo want one. snyonr got sny advise on best positions for falling pregnant or old wives tales??

i bought a pack last month with 5 in it. i used the calculator in the instructions but all negative.they are to expensive to buy lots.some ppl say u can sometimes feel a slight pain in ur side when u ovulate but i have not felt anything, i worked out my ovu date 17th feb.help

Hi i just started to take clomid and i was wondering am i taking it right i got them of the doctor 3 months ago but just started to take them now im on my 4th tablet now and every time i take it it make me feel sick dose it happen to anyone else and have i been taking it right i took the 1st tablet on the 3rd day of my period and i take it a 2:30pm every day, am i taking it right

One month before I got to know that I have PCOS,Dr put me on clomid 50mg and called for ultrasound on 12th day,have one follicle of 15.5mm on left ovary and said its too small and put me on metformin tablets 500mg twice daily.and has called me back on 15th day for ultrasound hoping that the follicle size may improve.Can someone tell me that will I ovulate and does clomid and metformin(what do they actually do) help in ovulating and getting me pregnant.If s then how many cyles should I have them.m confused and desparately waiting to conceive.Please help me and give me advices.

I was pregnant at the age of 17 and had some problems, it was not untill the age of 31+ about 3 miscarriages, and a laporocopy, d&c later that my Dr. found out that I had a bicoruate uterus. So now all of my previous problems make sense. My husband and I are now thinking about trying to conceive again, what are my chances of having a good healthy baby? And would you reccomend us even trying to have another baby?

I've heard conflicting information about when a woman is most likely to become pregnant. Is it 2 weeks after your period begins or immediately after your period stops?(Assuming you have regular cycles {about 28 days} & your period lasts about 5 days).

We have been ttc for the past 6 month now. And now I am almost a week late. I took a preg. test last thrusday, sunday and yesterday. I am not pregnant - my cycle must be changing, so now I will not be able to calculate my ovulation days correctly... Please help - any suggestions?

This is a difficult one to word so bear with me.

I have tried to explain the likelihood that she could get pregnant by emptying the used condom out and inserting the s*perm into herself is pretty slim.
I also told her that it would be wrong to do that anyway. Especially since her husband doesn't want any more kids at this time. She thinks that she can get pregnant this way. So, I guess I am asking who do you think is right??

We are tring for a baby and have been for 6 months.......every month I convince myself i am pregnant to be let down the following day. Every month I get sore breasts and headaches and am as regular as clock-work every 30 days. But I have no sore breasts or headache but just a slight dull ache like my period is coming but not as bad as it normally is, im due on sat/sun but peed off with keep buying tests every month. Do you think I am pregnant as shouldnt you have sore nipples etc in early stages?

Oh and when do you count the 1st day of your cycle? is it the day you start or the following day is day 1?

ok sil took a ept at home it came up neg or so she thought,
the line that said the test was done came up faint and no other lines so she tossed it in the trash..but this morning she decided to look at it again..and there is actually a + sign there..
now i know there is such a thing as evap lines...
but these lines are blue..can evap lines be blue like the rest ..????? and be in the right spot for it to make a perfect +
we are both really confused...

I have been ttc now for 4 months with no luck. This month I ovulated on the 12th but normally i have ovualtion pains that have not happened this month. I have now had a very funny taste in my mouth for two days a bit like metal and for some reason feel like it may off happened has any one else had funny metal taste as a early sign??

Just wondering how many cycles it will take to get pregnant. Just completed my first cycle on femora for 5 days, then progesterone and aspirin after ovulation and I just got back a negative result :( so I have stopped the progesterone and just waiting for AF to arrive then starting my second cycle. How many cycles do you think it will take?

just got my period today - have mixed feeling about it and somehow ffeel guilty

i have had 3 miscarriages so far - all fairly late, 1 at 16wks and the other 2 after 24 wks so altho am dying to have a baby am also very scared of getting pregnant again

am pretty confused!!! so when i saw my period this morning i was both sad and relieved - does anyone else ever feel like that? am i normal?

I am 24 and my husband is 27 and we have been married 3 years. Im ready to have a baby, he talks about it, and thinks about it, and seems to consider it, but when it comes down to doing the deed, he backs out!! He says we should wait till im 30. I definatly dont want to wait that long. I went back to school for a new degree, but im still working, and he throws that in and says it's my fault we cant have one cause im in school. But money is not an issue. He went and bought a new pick up yesterday. I just feel at the bottom of his list. Any thoughts on the situation? We get along great, no scandolous behavior of any kind. He was gone for 2 years in the military, but we got through that great, so I dont see any negatives to bringing in a new addition to add to our bliss!! Thanks for some nice input!

I have put in a suggestion to Yahoo! about two new possible catagories; 'Contraception' and 'Trying to conceive after contraception' Do you think these should be added to yahoo answers? Follow the link below to see my suggestion and vote for it if you think it's a good idea.

I myself am on contraceptive to regulate my cycle after the use of depo, but would like to conceive in the near future. I feel like these two sub-cataories would be beneficial to people like myself and questions can be asked and answered by people in the same boatSearching for particular questions an answers of these topics can be long winded, and difficult, and can take a long time.

I will post this question in both Health - Womens health & in Pregnancy & parenting, as this is where I suggested each sub catagory should go.

I missed a pill around my ovulation date.A few dates later i had what was similar to an implantation bleed.My last period was 20th January,still no sign,and i am feeling that i could be pregnant.In my first pregnancy it was 2 and a half months before i had a positive hcg urine test.

Since last night, every time I wipe after going to the bathroom I have blood on the toilette paper. At first it was discharge blood. Then it was Light pink and very runny (small amount). Now it is light red strings of blood. My last period started a couple days early and lasted 7 days instead of my regular 5. I am usually very regular with my periods. About a week and a half before my last period my husband and I had intercourse. We always use the pull out method. I am not due again for another week. I thought maybe it was ovulation, but I haven't bled from ovulation since having my first child. I don't feel any pain. I have started exercising on a trampoline the past few nights.Could that cause the bleeding?
