I bought some off e-bay, I can't remember the price but I think the were under £5. I had the choice of the amount in the pack, and they came with 2 pregnancy tests. I had a few people frown at me because they were cheap and from e-bay, but I fell pregnant first use and the pregnancy tests showed I was pregnant.

there is a calender on there where you put in the first date of your last period and it will work out when you should ovulate and the best times to try.

I had same problem i used2 by Ovulation test every month, but the result was negative every time. it contain 5sticks only for 28 Ovulation,so i stopped using and decided2 follow normal way that 2 intercourse untill i get pregnant. However, Women usually experience certain physical signs when they are ovulating.
Instructions
STEP 1: Take your temperature every morning when you wake up, before getting out of bed or using the bathroom. Your temperature will drop slightly right before you ovulate, and then will rise. It will continue to rise on the following two days, and will register about 0.4 to 0.6 degrees higher than your normal temperature. STEP 2: Observe any abdominal discomfort. Some women experience a sharp pain in their lower abdomen when they begin to ovulateyou. STEP 3: Be aware of discharge. Cervical mucus becomes thinner and more watery as ovulation approaches. At ovulation, it resembles raw egg whites in consistency. STEP 4: Notice any changes in cervix color, which also indicate ovulation. The normal color is pink; when you ovulate, the color becomes pale or bluish. Ovulation usually occurs midcycle. If your cycle is 28 days and you are regular, then you would ovulate on day 14.

I used ovulation tests, for about 4 months. I didn't get pregnant the first time, but the tests just show you when you are ovulating. There is still only like a 25% chance of actually concieving (or something like that) It just helps you to make sure you have sex on your most fertile days. I can never tell when I am ovulating. My mom said she could tell every month. My body didn't even show sign when my period was coming. I know they are kind of spendy, but they really do help you narrow down those couple days. I wish you the best of luck.

I just had my first IUI and had to use the ovulation test kits. It cost me $50 for 9 of them. With never using these, I did what I was told and it actually told me when I was ovulating. Since I'm seeing a fertility doctor, she followed up with blood work to confirm that I was ovulating. I'm not sure if you can get it in a store, but they are OvuQuick. For example, the last day of my cycle was March 3rd, I had an HSG done on 5th and then starting the 8th, I did the ovulation test kit each day and got a positive reading on the 11th. They told me to start using it on the 11th day from the start of your period. I hope that helps.

Hi, I too am using ovulation sticks at the moment and yes they are expensive. You are best to use them first thing in the morning when your wee is at its strongest. Once you have had positive results over two or three cycles you will be able to pinpoint your best time of conceiving each month and won't need to buy any more. Some people ovulate early and some late so you may need more than one pack to start with to get a positive result. They have worked for me before and the price you pay for the pack is a small price to pay for a baby. As for being able to feel when you ovulate, some people can but most of us cannot. Best of luck.

i bought a pack of 50 tests with 10 HCG tests from an ebay shop for just £10, i reccomend you do this, i have very long cycles and had no idea when i ovulate, i used 20 sticks in this current cycle before i got a positive result, but it does coincide with approx 14 days before i think my next period is due. this is my first cycle using them after trying for 5 months, currently in the 2 week wait so i dont know if theyve helped this time yet!
ignore what the above poster said about taking the tests in the morning, they react with a hormane known as LH, this is synthesised in the morning and you will get most accurate results if you test around teatime, test around the same time everyday and try to hold your pee for as long as possible before testing to try and build up the strength of the hormone!

I never tried ovulation tests myself, but my doctor recommended me taking my temperature at the same time every morning before I got out of bed. He gave me a chart to fill out. I thought it sounded weird but you will notice that your temperature will go up for a few days a couple of degress when you are ovulating.

We have not been able to get pregnant yet, but I just started using the OPK, I found them online at early pregnancy tests.com for really cheap. They also have really cheap pregnancy tests. I am really irregular, so five tests a month is useless to me. These at least did register when I was ovulating!! Good luck!!

I bought ovulation tests and have used them this cycle and haven't had any luck either. I'm not sure they work for everyone but I'd like to know if someone DIDN'T have luck with them but still got pregnant.

you need to buy the test that has 30 strips in it that's the one i had. but you ovulate 14 days after your last day of your period so i would start testing after period. they also have a thermometer that track ovulation its called the basil thermometer sold in drug stores usually only 10 dollars
