Trying to Conceive - March 2007

ok i went to the doctor to see why i cant get pregnant and i have a doc app on the 26th they said the were going to give me an ultra sound will it be internal or external? they dint say and they said it was to look at my overies.. and what should i do before i go in drink alot of water?.. and they said they will put me on some meds that will help me become pregnant are they all expensive and im also on a medical card...can medical cards pay for the meds or not?

I know they get tender after ovulation and it is also a symptom of pregnancy (I recall from when I had my son), BUT... if you are pregnant, would you still get the pre-menstrual breast tenderness? Does the fact that it happens after ovulation make a difference if you are pregnant or not? I hope I am making sense and getting my point across! :)

I was diagnosed with low thyroid in November... I know it is a reason some women do not conceive. However, now that I have been taking thyroid medicine, my thyroid levels are normal. Can anyone share info? Thanks!

Ok here is the deal...I took two tests equate and now EPT digital both came out negative. I am exactly a week late for my period today. My last two pregnancies I miscarried in 2000 and 2002 prior to that I took pergonal to conceive my twins. I have not used any form of birth control ever. My periods are always regular until now. I do not have sore breasts but have had some shooting pains and mild cramps now and then. I havent had spotting but today I had a severe headache that came on all at once. Has anyone else experienced similar symptoms and were you pregnant or just late on your period. I am very hopeful and will probably test again in the next couple of days. What test is best to use?

i need help. the last time i had sex was on the 13 of feb. my boyfriend told me he came inside of me and 7 days later i had a cycle. now my breast are itching real bad and im expercing pains in the bottom of my stomach and some days on the left side of my stomach. they are not cramp like pains. im just wondering if i could be. ive tooken 2 test and they both came back neg. i took one 3 days before my cycle and a day after my cycle. can some one help me?

My last period was on Feburary 4th
I did not get my period this month, but around the time I might have gotton it I had some strings of blood in the normal vaginal discharge once or twice. It wasnt even 1/8th of a teaspoon worth. I took a pregnancy test 3 times, and they all came up negitive. I took it in the morning, afternoon, and night. (all different days)
Do you personally think I'm pregnant?

Hi everyone! I have been on 500mg of fortomet (metformin) for about 7 months. Yesterday I started my first round of clomid. I'm doing days 5-9. How long do I have to wait to ovulate?....& to ttc?

I used a home pregnancy test yesterday in the morning, it's a stick test that can test 7- 10 days after conceiving Ive come off the pill and think it's been 21/2-3weeks since my last period (its easier to keep track when you're on the pill!) it had a thin, faint but definate line where it indicated where it should be if it was to read positive. I carried out the test correctly. I did a test at the doctors today and a neg. line came up. I should have demanded a blood test. I'm starting to think the pos. was a false result. I know I should wait a bit longer and take another test in a few days but if this was you would you lean more toward a false result or maybe to early to tell and could be pregnant? By the way, I am trying for a baby. I'm not really stressed about it but I just want to know what's going on.

Ok..i posted this earlier, or i thougt i did but anyways ill repeat it..i have pcos have been ttc for a while now..anyways we just got my cycles back on track to a 35 day cycle..well my af should have started march 21..well on the 11th which was CD 20 i started spotting red blood..i thought ok AF is here early..which never happens ive either had 35 day cycles or longer..anyways i put a tampon in and checked it a few hours later..nothing was on it but a tad bit of blood..my AF usually doesnt start this way but i put a pad on and went to bed..the next morning i check brown discharge..i thought OK something is weird here..well the day goes on and had a few red blood spots..then it would go to brown..then it would go away for a while..next day same thing..and the next..well today is cd 24 and when i wiped earlier i had more of a flow but it was pinkish red..and now its all gone..i dont know whats going on? Could it be implantation bleeding? Would IB be bright red blood? When should i test.

we all know.... when a man ejaculates....... it shoots straight up into the womans vagina..into the cervix...and then nature does it's thing.
And we (women) have all complained about the "extra" semen that oozes down after he ejaculates......my very stupid question is........ ( and trust me.... I have thought about this before coming on Yahoo answers)..... what happens to the sperm that is supposedly swimming inside of us for days... waiting for an egg to fertilize???? Out of all these billions of sperms inside of us... only one .... maybe two get the job done.... but what happens to the rest of them?? I know they die off...... but where do these dead sperms go.... LOL !!!

I really would like a serious answer for this !!! Thanks a bunch !! 8)

Is possible you can get pregnant if you had sex at a time when you were not ovulating I used one (or a few) of those online ovulation calculators to determine when I had ovulated last. All but one of the tests said that I was ovulating on 3/3/07, I did not have sex until one week later. I'm due to get my period, but it seems to be late and I don't have any period symptoms. I suffer from horrible PMS, and I don't have of that this week.

What are my chances?

The guy I had sex with and his parents are saying that there is no way that it can be his baby, but my doctor told me that blood tests are accurate 6-7 days after conception and the last time I had sex prior to this was in Novemeber of 2006. I told them this and they are still insisting that I am lying and that I am just trying to pin my pregnancy on him. I was just wondering if anybody could give me some advice on how to deal with them?

I miscarried 4 weeks ago, ovulation calculator says i was supposed to have ovulated around the 4th 5th or 6th of March. Had unprotectes sex on all of them days without knowing i was ovulating. I still havn't had my period, and for the past week i been feeling slightly queasy, get headrushes/headaches/lackouts, look very bloated/pregnant, and today my nipples started hurting, i also have food craving and feel sleepy at different times of the day. for the past 3 days i been getting slightly sharp pains in my lower tummy. what is going on??????? i took a test about 3 days ago which tested negative surely i cant be pregnant again so soon... or can i? since my bleeding stopped i been having unprotected sex like everyday

- on Alesse but started pack late this month and have been irregular with pills
