Sperm lives in the body for up to a week, so even if there is no egg present at the time of sex, if an egg is released in the following few days, it can be fertilized by the remaining sperm.

Yes you can get pregnant while on menstration. The chances are slimer but when someone ejaculates inside of you the semen stays around for up to 7 days
