Go to your local Walgreens ad purchase one of the at home sperm test kits. See how it goes, if the result is questionable, then I would have him go get checked out as well! Two months may not be long enough to be trying! Keep at it for a bit longer, I wouldn't wait too long, age is a factor in fertility problems! If you want to be proactive from the start, instead of waiting to see how it goes, make an appoitment now to have him tested. but you can also do the at home test for him, I have heard they wor well! We will be trying one this weekend!
I also second the person who suggested ovulation testing! We are doing this as well! We purchased the Clear Blue Easy Monitor and are using it this month for the first time! It will tell you what to do and when, I have a friend who used it and had great success and is now starting her second trimester! So we have high hopes for it working for us as well!
Good luck! Best wishes on ttc! It's hard as we all know, but when you hold your baby, it's all worth it! Or so I've been told!

Two months, in the grand scheme of things isn't a terribly long time. Most doctors won't see couples for a fertility issue when the woman is under 35 unless they've been trying for a year, though sometimes sooner when there's another issue that could complicate getting pregnancy-things like diabetes, PCOS, endometriosis. However, you're near 35, and your husband had a condition that may cause a fertility issue, so you may want to speak to your doctor sooner.
Diabetes can have vascular complications, (complications with moving fluids through the body) and complications with the nervous system. Many men with diabetes have problems with retrograde ejaculation-where the nerves that close off the bladder during ejaculation don't close completely and semen is ejaculated into the bladder instead of out through the urethra into the vagina. Your husband may want to see a doctor and have a semen analysis, and urine sample done. If his blood sugar isn't well controlled, that could also affect things.
Good luck.

Statistically it takes the average "normal" healthy couple a year to get pregnant. Just relax, enjoy the process, and if you aren't pregnant in another 6 months you might have your husband checked out. Don't worry that your clock is ticking, you have some time... You can also check out this web site if you want some more info: http://www.babyhopes.com/articles/howlong.html

Your worrying too much about it. Pray and ask God to help you. Also they sell ovulation strips at like wal-mart or wal-greens to detect your best times of ovulation to tell you when the best chance for you to get pregnant is. And may God bless you with a precious bundle of joy!

Give it six months minimum. Track your ovulation periods and make sure you give it a shot when you are hot.
If nothing after that time and technique, have the old man checked out. Have him lose weight, he might get back his old vitality.
