We are tring for a baby and have been for 6 months.......every month I convince myself i am pregnant to be let down the following day. Every month I get sore breasts and headaches and am as regular as clock-work every 30 days. But I have no sore breasts or headache but just a slight dull ache like my period is coming but not as bad as it normally is, im due on sat/sun but peed off with keep buying tests every month. Do you think I am pregnant as shouldnt you have sore nipples etc in early stages?

Oh and when do you count the 1st day of your cycle? is it the day you start or the following day is day 1?

Honey, I feel ya. Ok, here is the best advice I have gotten. Sit back and relax, dont look into every symptom and assume it is because you are pregnant. You very well could be, but leave that to a test. I was getting super annoyed with buying tests as well, until i heard that they sell them at the dollar tree...only a dollar! Sure beats 16 bucks for two tests. Another good piece of advice, wait at least a week before testing, sometimes it takes that long to get a positive even if you are pregant. THat way you can be sure that the HCG levels are high enough to detect. Not every woman is going to have the same symptoms either, you may have morning sickness and sore nipples, or maybe nothing at all throughout the entire pregnancy.

You start counting at the very first day of your period...

Good Luck!!!!!!!!

oh Hun i am so sorry, i know exactly how you feel, I'm pregnant after 6 months of trying and i understand the anxious wait. Every month you try and every month you think its got to be it and you buy a test early only to get a neg. All i can say is try to relax and put it to the back of your mind (easier said than done i know) but it will happen for you. when i conceived it was my sons birthday and i was so busy concentrating on organising his party i fell pregnant! if by some chance you do get your period this weekend how about booking a weekend break away in 2 weeks time? you'll be so busy having fun and enjoying yourself that maybe just maybe it will happen? i always counted the first day of my period as day 1. i wish you the best of luck and fingers crossed for you this weekend xxxx

yes the 1st day of your cycle is when you start your period, emotions can play a big role in how you feel, try to relax, it took me almost 20 years of trying to get pregnant. I went through so many fertility treatment to only be let down each and every time, so I finally gave it one more attempt before giving up for good, only to be let down again! talk about being a very bitter woman I was mad and cried every time someone close to me became pregnant, and I refused to go to baby showers, but one day my husband was deer hunting and after dragging the deer, he thought he had a hernia, so I made him an appointment and the first question the doctor asked is if he had any kids and my husband said no, and the doctor said that is because your spermatic cord is twisted, now any normal person couldn't tell this, and he had surgery and 3 months later I was pregnant, I am very happy to have my daughter, but I told my husband that if that doesn't prove how faithful I have been in the past nothing does, But sometimes I guess because we are getting older I am bitter for all the stuff I went through, I am done now because I am 45, but now he is fixed and can have more ( my own insecurities) but 6 months is nothing so try to relax and have your husband get checked out before you go crazy! and remember don't ever give up!

The day you start is Day one of your cycle. There is no way to know for sure if you are or are not. Wait until your period is due, if it doesn't show then wait 2-3 days and take a test. IF it comes up neg, then you might have something else wrong. Make an appt w/ your Gyno. IT's good to have a pre-conception appt anyway.

You need to stop convincing yourself that you are pregnant every month. You may be feeling these symptoms because you are trying to force the issue. The truth is that it happens when you are expecting it sometimes Chill out and keep having sex, it will come. Dont count on having a baby and it will hapeen for you. Good Luck and God Bless.

Pregnancy pills do the same thing you are. They are a state of mind change that make you think you're pregnant. When you think your pregnant, it voids you becoming pregnant (which is why they're only 99% effective).

You should try not thinking about it at all, it's probably causing stress, which is not a good enviroment for growth.

The first day of your cycle is usually the day you start.

i was tryin for a baby but i thought about it that much that it took 3 years. now ive got a baby boy whos 3 months. the more you think about it the longer you'll have to wait.
i got angry when my mates were fallin pregnant and i cried all the time. but hang on in there it will happen.
the best time to fall pregnant is on your most fertile day of your cycle which is between day 10 and day 14
