Trying to Conceive - January 2007

I was on 200 mg for irregular bleeding. I was supposed to get a heavier period AFTER the 10 days I took it but I only bled slightly heavier while taking it then nothing happened. Has anybody else had this problem or should I worry?

Here's the DL, I haven't had sex this cycle because my DH is on a Navy Ship in the middle of the ocean:( Had my last period 5 day late, and it lasted extra long. 4 or 5 mo's ago, I had an early miscarraige. Since then my periods have had clots and bright red blood. This one was very dark red, almost black not brown. At the end it was like clear streaked with the dark red again, and no clots at all. I wouldn't be asking this, but people keep saying that i'm acting and look pregnant while I say that it's impossible. Is it possible that I had a period while I was pregnant?
If anyone has had bleeding while they were pregnant, What did the blood look like? I'm nauseus and dizzy, get hot flashes.
This was the one month where I didn't take a test b/c I wasn't going to keep track. (I realized in hind sight that I had it 5 days late) I had a yeast infection just before my period also. I dunno if that had anything to do with it.
NO I didn't cheat, he just left 3 wks ago, I had my 2 wks ago

i got to 23 wks into my first pregancey and it wasnt till then did a home test pick up the hcg levels . Is there something wrong with me ?? My last pregnacy 2 blood test were negative at 8-12weeks ? what could cause this??

when you are trying to conceive is it better to have sex every other day or is it okay to have sex every day or multiple times a day. i would think the more you have sex the better the chance of a pregnancy, but ive heard if you only do it a few times a week its better because it makes a higher sperm count. which is better?

I have taken two EPT tests and both came out positive, but when I went to our local pregnancy center, to have one taken it came out negative. The lady said that it may be too early to get a good reading, but why would the EPT tests say positive?

Help! I have always wanted another child. I already have a 7yr. old daugher who is amazing, but feel that our family would be complete with another child. My daughter would love a sibling and I would love to raise another child. I've considered all of my optios... sperm donor (may not work), adoption (so expensive) and adopted thru the foster care system (children with lots of issues and usually siblings). Financially, i can make it work, but it would be tight. I don't want to marry for this reason, so being a single mom is my only option at this point. A bonus : I'm a teacher and work great hours and have summers off, but I know it would still be very difficult. I stay awake at nights surching for an answer. Any input would be most helpful!

me and my fiance have been trying to have a baby for the last few months. i got one quick question. we had sex the 12-14th of this month. i found out about mymonthly.com after words n i found out i ovulate on the 22nd. i also heard sperm can survive inside a women for 3-7 days depending on how acidy she is. lets say we had sex the 14th. 3-7 days from then i would ovulate. can the sperm surivive inside even if theres no egg? if it was still inside when the egg dropped or before could i have gotten pregnant? because im having alot of cramps discharge and headaches. my next period will be on the 9th of february so im thinking its not my period. thanks so much - Kayla

Well I have experienced light pink spotting when I wipe, that lasted 3days. It started early. I usually see it around the 11th but it came on on the 1st. And thats not normal for me. I my cycle never did that. I have took several test and 3 came up to be a very faint positive. Still no period yet. I have been having symptoms of stomach pains, cramps and sometimes feel like it is in my butt and they are very sharp. Bachaches and some headaches. Can anyone give me there personal experience before I go to the doctor. Can it be a coinsident or is it just me?!

I took a blood test yesterday (CD 27) I usually have irregular periods, anywhere between 30 and 33. My HCG level was 7.6. I was very very discouraged. My doctor told me to re-test in two days. If it doubles, he will give me a shot to keep the baby and progestrone. I am so scared. This is my 3rd pregnancy. I had a chemical pregnancy 2 months ago and before that a miscarriage at 6 weeks, no heartbeat. I am truely shocked to what is happening. The first pregnancy my HCG was 90 at CD 31 or 31 when I first found out I was pregnant. Anyone had HCG this low and still had a healthy baby? All my blood clotting tests are great, we are healthy.

=i came on my period 4days earlier then it is suppose to come.
=it's been 4weeks since i been counting from last intercourse between early dec and begining of january 1 bcuz i had two intercourse and the condom torned the first time and im not sure about the second time.
=then i had these spots which turned into a heavy period now bcuz i been researchin bout these spots that came up last weeks and said if i was pregnant then i should be spottin by now but this spottin turned into a heavy period but but my question is that if you came on your period can you still be pregnant ?
=but i took a home pregnancy test today and came out negative and the reason why i think it came out negative is because im on period you think so? but i heard that you can have your period during your early pregnancy for months so you think i should take another one when i get off this saturday or try again next week ?

I have been so ready for a family for about a year or so now. My husband just came around this christmas. So he has taken on the if it happens it was meant to happen way of things. He is aware that I did my first ovulation kit this month. I was supposed to have ovulated this past saturday but no dice. I refuse to buy another kit so I will wait till my next cycle and begin tracking bbt. In the mean time it is all I can think about, Why haven't I ovulated. Why am I the only one that doesnt have a baby. I haven't even been trying that long but I am so impatient with this whole thing. I run to the bathroon and take a test everytime I think I might be preggers and take a test. I would have bet my first born I was pregnant at christmas my period was very late and when it came it was sorry for the gross visual fleshy and painful. I am pretty sure I had an early misscarage. I just have a horrible feeling it will be hard to be come a mommy what do i do to occupy my mind.

We have conceived before but it ended in a still birth and we do know the reason and it wont happen again. We waited the neccesary time that my doctor told me to. It took me 3 months the last time to conceive. This is my 3rd month trying now. We also use the clear blue fertility monitor so we know when we are fertile and when we are not. Any advice would be helpful. I know the adverdge couple in there early 20's gets pregnant within 6 months it is 75%. But what do you think my chances are of getting pregnant this month?

My husband and I have been thinking about having a third kid, but I have not lost the weight from my last baby. I am considered to be pretty over weight. I am 5'7 and last time I went to the doctors I weighed 220. Is it safe for me to have another child or is it unsafe to have a child when being over weight? for some reason I am having the worst time finding information about this on the internet. Some have told me that I am more at risk for all these health conditions and miscarriages. does anyone have any experiance or information that you can share with me. Thank you!!
