Trying to Conceive - January 2007

I went to the doctor (first appt. new doc.) He asked whats going on? I said, " we are not conceiving, my periods are one week-to two weeks late every month...i want to conceive." Then he said okay jessica lets give you a dose of clomid and provera and hopefully you will become pregnate within 3 months...see you then, heres your prescripstion order. He didnt give me a pap smear, blood test or anything...should i take clomid and provera...will i get pregnant>?help...is there any one in my shoes?

Ok i have a problem i did someting roung with my b/f this sunday
we are bouth 18 and this is not my 1st time having sex!But me and him did not have sex only oral sex like playing around with each other we just dont do it cause we dont want to deal with me getting pregnant !!so the methot that we use is just playing around with eacother well he fingered me for a long time and i dont know if he had some contact with is penis before he did thatand i think there was some pre *** on his finger and if there was maybe it was not eaven nothing just a little or maybe dry! so yea im confused u think i might be pregnant??and can this happen?

I have one child born in August and the other in January. Between the two, I prefer not giving birth in the winter-time (too cold, can't get out much due to poor weather, etc.). I would love to have a spring baby (May or June).

I had my period on the 6th, I had sex on the 14th, the calendars online said my ovulation date was the 20th. Am I pregnant?

Three days later I have some symptoms but not the 2 most important: the missed period and the swollen, tender breasts. I'm just very anxious. i know I should wait and see what I'm excited and want to know now! hehe

your temperature spikes during your high phase? I have this little thermometer thing that tells you when you are most fertile...well it says i have been for the last four or five days...and about ten minutes ago i started getting warm and my temperature spiked from 97.6 to 99.1....what does that mean if anything? Does it mean my ovary is releasing the egg?

On friday night I gave my boyfriend a handjob and i put my hand on his penis and then i pulled his boxers back up before he came like way before and when he came his boxers were on. It would have been a good 30-40 minutes before I went home to check my discharge (long story) like having to touch myself. Then on saturday night Im scared because i touched my boyfriend over his boxers and im afraid that I somehow got sperm on my hands and I had to go to the bathroom 10-15 minutes later to check my discharge (long story) so now im afraid I may have put something in me. That happened on Saturday.

Im scared he somehow put sperm in me. What should I do right now? I go to the gynecologist tomorrow im very scared. Is there a possibility i could be pregnant?

When I ask him if he wants one he says we cant afford it(which we can lol)
But we have been having unprotected sex for about 4 months now and nothing.
But I dont know if that means he DOES or DOESNT because if he really didnt then he would cover it up or something right?
And is something wrong with one of us because we have been trying for a while?

ok ok ok i know it is not a reliable source to check your own cervix and it can be uncleanly..etc..however, i am looking for signs of pregnancy, and i am about 5 DPO. had intercourse on what i believe to be my fertile days. what does a "newly pregnant cervix" feel like? how about one that is not pregnant but after ovulation?

please only answer if you have knowledge on the topic, thanks!

well i think i had a period at the begining of january it was 3 days long and my breast were sore for a lil over a week before that and have still been sore so they have been sor for about 3 weeks now and i have been having cramps and i am not suposed to have my period for about another 2 weeks what does this mean???? any help would be great!!!!!

I'm 4 days late for my period and i've been having cramps in my stomach for over a week. Then just this morning my nipples felt a little sore. but its just my nipple or the areola part of my breast. What part of your breast feels sore when you're pregnant? And do you think i may be pregnant? I've been trying for a couple of months now. I plan on taking a test on Saturday. My period ended on Jan. 17th. The last time I went to my GYN, he told me that he suspected I had PCOS. I have never been officially diagnosed with it. I read on the internet that sore nipples and breasts are a symptom of PCOS. I just don't know if I have PCOS or is there a chance I'm pregnant. I am married, have 1 other child and do not use any protection. I have been TTC for over a year with no success. HELP!!!

My husband and I plan on getting pregnant in September -December. I have now started counting my days, but I am not sure how to know when I am ovulating. I am going to try to use the shettles method (we want a girl, already have 2 boys), so I have to know exactly when I ovulate in order to do what the book says. Can somebody please help me on this and give me some tips on how to count my days to find out exactly when i am ovulating. Thanks!

ok to start off i was given the progesterone challenge by my doctor a.k.a provera challenge and about 2 or 3 days after stopping i got my period, not only did i get my period but it was really heavy and i had alot of cramping I'm not sure if that has anything to do with not having my period for a year befor the challenge, anyways my doctor told me i should try using progesterone cream, my husband and i would also like to conceive..My question is if i'm not sure when or if i'm even ovulating can progesterone cream help me with that, and when would be good to use the cream without interupting my ovulation and how long am i suppose to use it for...I heard it's either good to help with pregnancy but also gets in the way for conception to occur. So i am not wanting to use it befor or during ovulation but after ovulation. also i have had quite a few miscarriages already due to low progesterone. when would be a good time in the cycle to start using the cream and for how long. thanks

the nausea, well, its not always there, but its frequent. it eases up a little when i eat something, but is back in 30 minutes to an hour. (and this is a little gross...but...) i've had a lot of gas. i dont have a cold, and its been this way for about a week and a half...i WANT to be pregnant, but i've also done my best not to trick my body into having the symptoms when i'm really not preg at all...i'm just sick of feeling like crap. what do you think?

I have been charting my bbt and it raised on monday and we didn't have sex between sat-mon., is this going to decrease our chances of becoming pregnant. I also read that you are most fertile 2-3 days before the raise in temp. Just not sure what were my best days to have had sex, would like to know for future reference.

I think I experienced some implantation but not sure how it looks and how it suppose to feel. I felt crampy in the middle as well as the sides period is not due until 5 days from know and lower back hurts on and off. Is this implantation? how does it feel? what does it look like? I had my tubes burned and clipped before I met my husband( they have been that way for 4 years now) Now my husband and I want to have a baby. Is there any way I can get pregnant? Special medication? Has anyone ever done Invitro? I am planning to do it probably by next month. I will have a consultation with my doctor, but I would like to hear about it from someone who has already done it. How long is the process. I know that my insurance covers two cycles for invitro, but I have to pay for the medication and the process to freeze the embryo, and that might be about 4500$ But I believe it is worth a shot. I have been trying for over a year, and I have done many cycles of IUIs with injectibles. According to my doctor, there is no specific target with me or the problem, so they are very positive about Invitro. Any thoughts?
