Here are some tips, i was ttc for 1 yr
1- Get a basal themometor from a drug store (baby or womens section)
2- Go to fertilityfriend.com or another site that charts your temps each morning.
By doing this, u will be about to track your cycles to see when and if u are ovulating.
3- Buy the book Taking charge of your fertlity. It tells u other things about ovulating, like checking ur cervical postion and my fave check your cervical mucus. U can learn alot from that book alone.
Also, I really home you do get preg Sept-Dec, but dont put all ur eggs in 1 basket. Its not that easy for most. It takes a healthy average couple in thier 20's 1 year to concieve. ( I hope u get October my bday, libras are the greatest lmao)
Good Luck and feel free to email me if u want to know info

You won't know exactly when you're ovulating (but a predictor kit can help). Generally, women ovulate 14 days prior the start of their next period - and of course, this only helps is you have a fairly regular period....
And even knowing the exact time of ovulation doesn't guarantee you an automatic pregnancy. Just guestimate the best you can to the day of ovulation and starting the week before start having sex every other day until the week after that date.
And there are no guarantees using whatever method is out there on the gender you'll have....

Ovulation is whilst an ovary releases an egg. The egg enters the fallopian tube, the place it keeps to be for greater or less 24 hours. we are saying that a woman is ovulating in this time; this is the era whilst this is a danger for her to grow to be pregnant. If there is sperm interior the fallopian tube, it would desire to fertilize the egg. it is declared as concept. The fertilized egg then travels down the fallopian tube and embeds itself into the liner of the uterus. as quickly because it attaches right here, a woman is seen pregnant, although maximum exams will nevertheless take yet another couple of weeks to come upon the being pregnant. If the egg isn't fertilized, it passes out of the physique interior the direction of the vagina. approximately 2 weeks later, the uterus sheds the liner that it had arranged for the egg; that's what a era is.

You need to get a copy of the book "Taking Charge of your Fertilty" http://www.tcoyf.com. This book will teach you how to track your cycles, take your basal body temp, and chart your cervical fluid. You will learn the signals your body is sending when you are ovulating. It's an amazing book!
What you are looking for when you are ovulating is an egg-white like discharge. It will feel slippery, and range in color anywhere from clear to opaque. You basal body temp will also raise after you have ovulated, which you will know after you've been charting a few months.
You can also use an ovulation calculator (http://www.4women.gov/tools) to determine your ovulation days as well. Or you can always get the kits from the store.
Good luck.

I have this silly theory but when your ovulating do it by 5 days before, during and 5 days after YOUR PERIOD. There is this superstition in our family im sorry to say this but get your husband as honrny as you possible can don't give him any then it can be possible to both of you to have a girl my sister told me this silly theory. so i don't know if it's true or not but just try it see if it will actually work then write back in about 2-3 years to see if it really happened because i have a 1 year old girl

it's impossible to know when you are ovulating, and every women can ovulate differently, and you could even ovulate different with each cycle. The only way to be positive is to buy the home ovulation tests. I also don't believe in the timing thing in a chance for a girl. If you want a baby you should have sex everyday. Whatever your meant to have is what you'll have.

I hope you won't hold a grudge against your newest arrival if it turns out to be another boy despite your every effort to have a girl. Will you consider yourself blessed if your baby turns out to be healthy, regardless of what sex it is? Otherwise, the only guarantee is to adopt.
