A lot of women have. But whether it works depends on the man. Usually if a man was raised by 2 parents he chooses to stay because he wants his kid to have a family like he did. But if he was raised by a single mother may or maybe not. Like I said it just depends on the man. But I hope it all works out for you, because children are really a blessing.

I hope this is just a ? to ask because if you are even for a second thinking about it then you are a ******* idiot. Why would you want to bring a child into this world like that. And no it doesn't make them stay with you. I hope you don't get pregnant cause you surely don't deserve a child.

I can't speak of personal experience but I have heard enough stories from friends and whatnot to know that it never works out. Even if he does stay...chances are you're going to wish he'd have left. A man should want to stay with you cause he cares...not because he feels obligated. But being a single mom is not fun. Its hard work and its expensive...so personally I would advise everyone not to have kids with people you know you're not going to be with.

What a sh*tty thing to do. Do not bring a child into this world for such a selfish, self serving and self centered reason.

No, why would you do that? then you are just stuck with a man that resents you for "ruining" his life and a child that won't know the love of a father...
