they could do another test, they will ask you when your last period was, they could ask you how you feel about it and if you are in the UK they will give you the phone number for your local midwife centre and tell you to give them a ring when you are in between 8-9 weeks to book an appointment with them for when you are 10 weeks

The doctor will only ask one probably, regarding your last period, then they refer you on to a Midwife who will see you about 2 weeks after that. they will take a medical history of yourself, your partner and some family history. They will ask you about previous pregnancies if any regardless of whether you carried the pregnancy to term. They will also want a urine sample and possibly ask you to go for a blood test, it is at this appointment they will book an appointment for a scan and check blood pressure etc.

The doctor will ask you first of all, the date of your last period,to check how many weeks you are pregnant and this way he can tell you the date of your due. Then he will ask you if there are any genetic diseases in your family (and the father`s family of course), if you had other pregnancies before. These are the main questions....

the doctor would more or less ask you if you tried taking a pregnancy test before, past medical history, if you are willing to undergo a physical examination, and other basic questions, dont worry, he will not ask you intimate details or embarrassing questions. he does this all the time, its nothing new for him. so relax. rely on your doctor, and you will be fine.

They ask about your perrsonal history...like how old were you when you first began your period, are there any family issues he\she needs to be aware of. They will ask about your concerns and a good doctor will address them patiently.
Many times they will ask about birth control usage and such as that.

they will ask about your last period to try and estimate how far gone you are , they will ask if you want to go ahead with the pregnancy, once thats out of the way they will put you in contact with your midwife who will in turn book you in and arrange regular visits and examinations with yourself , give you a book to keep records in of all your results and appointments, your doctor will not ask you any questions that you wont know the answer to
