After the egg enters the fallpian tube how long does it stay there (before going into the uterus) if it is fertilized? and if its not fertilized? also, if its not fertilized, does it go down into the uterus and break down right away or does it go into the uterus and stay there until the day you get your period, then it breaks down??

The egg makes the same trip regardless of fertalization. Down the tube and into the uterus. At that point it will either impland (if fertalized) or be expelled with the lining during menses. The Luteal phasr takes from 10 to 17 days. That is the time that it takes for the egg to be released, travel down the tube and be expelled or implanted. If it is fertalized it will usually implant a few days before menses is due.
Hope that helps.
