Chances of becoming pregnant in a month are less then 20%. But if you try your chance increase to 50% by four months, 75% by eight months and 90% by a year.
Here's a site that helps to explain it more.

I know it sucks trying and waiting, trying and waiting, trying and waiting, I'm in the same boat as you but have been trying for over a year. Succeeded once but had an unfortunate miscarriage and been trying ever since. Just be patient and it will happen eventually, good luck and best of wishes!

Two months is nothing when you're trying to get pregnant. The longer you've been on the pill, the longer you have to wait until it is out of your system. Loosen up, abstain from sex to build up his sperm count when you do have it. If you want a boy have sex just before your period. The shorter the trip for the sperm, the chances of having a boy are greater. Sperm that only carry the x chromosome (for males) are faster. If you want a girl have sex a few days before your period. The xy sperm (female) are slower but have more stamina that the XX. (no kidding!)

Relax, keep it fun. It will happen. When you've been trying for over eight months then look into something medical.

Usually, it can take up to 5-6 months being off the pill to conceive. Also another thing that helps is knowing when you are ovulating. That is when you want to have intercourse. Typically ovulation occours approx 1-2 wks after your period, depending on your cycle. There are ovulation kits out there whereby you can detect when you are ovulating. Just enjoy trying in the mean time. Good Luck!

Figure out your fertile days (about halfway through your cycle). to do this, you may have to track your periods like you did when you were a teenager. Have sex every other day for the 5 middles days (the first, middle, and last day of the fertile days). They every other day allows the sperm to build back up. Finish with him on top. Then stay lying down after he gets off of you. You can put a pillow under your hips to allow the sperm to stay inside you, and to let gravity help out. Stay that way for 30 minutes or so.
The rest of the month do what every you want, have sex when you feel like it and don't think about having babies.
This worked for my husband and I.....
Good luck.

Two months is not very long. But I would read Toni Weschler's Taking Charge of Your Fertility. It has everything you need to know about getting pregnant.

It took me one year and a few doses of provera to get my body back in check after stopping the pill. Some people get preggo instantly after stopping and some don't. Just give it time!

Read "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" by Toni Weschler. It's a great book with details on knowing when your fertile, etc.

Well, I'm not a woman, but you may want to see your doctor. There may be something that is not working between the two of you! Best of luck!
