I took a blood test yesterday (CD 27) I usually have irregular periods, anywhere between 30 and 33. My HCG level was 7.6. I was very very discouraged. My doctor told me to re-test in two days. If it doubles, he will give me a shot to keep the baby and progestrone. I am so scared. This is my 3rd pregnancy. I had a chemical pregnancy 2 months ago and before that a miscarriage at 6 weeks, no heartbeat. I am truely shocked to what is happening. The first pregnancy my HCG was 90 at CD 31 or 31 when I first found out I was pregnant. Anyone had HCG this low and still had a healthy baby? All my blood clotting tests are great, we are healthy.

I retested, my hcg level is 28. (it was 7.6 two days ago). My doctor is optimistic, he put me on progestrone and asprin. Hope this time it works.

I think it just means your early. I had low levels and i did miscarry at 8 weeks, but that had nothing to do with my low levels.
Congratulations. i Hope this time you get your wish.
