Trying to Conceive - November 2006

I had an IUD placed in Feb 06. I had it removed in Aug 06 because it was embedded in my uterus. The doctor told me that I could leave it in but I did not feel comfortable with it being there and being able to feel the strings. I had a normal period in August and after that things got a little crazy. My periods used to be every 28 days like clockwork now they come every 30 day. When I got AF in October I was shocked because it lasted about nine days. My question is will the length of my period change when I am suppose to ovulate? I know that ovualtion normally occurs 14 day after your period, but I can not help to ask if I will ovulate later since I had my period for so long. Please help!

I stopped taking the ortho evra birth control patch about 3 weeks ago. I was on it for 4 years. My husband and I are trying to have a baby and I just ovulated a few days ago. How long should I wait before I take a pregnancy test? I am due for my period in about 10 days but I dont want to wait that long.

My husband drinks one margarita with dinner about 5 days a week. We are trying to conceive our first baby and I never drink.

He doesn't smoke or do drugs, and is very healthy (as am I).

Will his one margarita with dinner affect us conceiving? Should I ask him to only have one or two margaritas a week?

before i go back and take another blood test if i dont believe the first one. it just doesnt feel right to me. should i wait till my next period is missed or should i test with a urine test in a cupple of days?

This month my period was only 3 days long and lighter and a different color then my normal period and was 4 days early. my actuall period was to be here the 6th of nov. my normal periods are always 7 days long and heavy the frist 3 days and crampy this time i wsa only crampy one time. when it started. Then i started to feel nasus at times. only at night. one night i felt like i was going to be sick but never got sick this was after my so called period was gone. I pee more its like once i fall asleep i have to pee again. my lower back is kind of stiff. and my nipples look darker around them but thats about it. before my so called period i had really sore nipples and got an yeast infection on top of that becuase i was extra wet and then my period came 4 days early and was light. lucky for me i had a yearly yesterday and i explained to my doc what i had and they took the blood test and it came back neg. but i dont know if i beleive it yet. maybe its just me. can they be wrong?

well, i had a misscarriage in Sept 20th, and i had one regular period in oct 20th...but iam feeling all this pregnant symptom..Ive also felt some strong abdominal pain like if i were lifting something heavy..Is that something i should worry about since ive already experience a first trimster misscarriage?Just to add a litlle more information its to soon for me to take a pregnacy test since my period isnt due till the 20th of this month!Help Please???

My wife and i are expecting in Jan 07 and are using a Midwife instead of hospital. We are going to try non-vaccinations and want to bypass the Vitamin K shot but we are concerned about how circumsion will affect this and how long after birth should we wait to do this procedure? ok so im on the pill, and i am going on the inactive week of them starting sunday. but my body hasnt felt right the past few days. if i were pregnant would it skip my period? Me and my husband have been really trying to get pregnate for a year and a half and I'm on clomid fertility meds and I have been doing a lot of reading on which day is the best to have sex and concieve and I read that when your cervical fluid looks like eggwhite then you are ovulating. If I had sex that day then does that mean that I more than likely concieved?

my periods are normally extremely heavy. this month though was two days late but really light for six days. sorry if tmi but at first was a little red then brownish and turned off a light pink spotting barely noticable. i had the breast tenderness, irritability, i even have had a discharge from my breast. could i still be pregnant? serious answers only please

I am not two days late, and on day 15 days past ovulation but I am still getting a negative on the pregnancy test. I tested with the EPT early pregnancy test, I have also used the Early first response test as well, I know the stats on how accurate for how early you can test, but I am two days late I am never late maybe early but never late. Has anyone else gotten a false negative when they tested after they missed their period, and if so how long til you got the positive and what way did you do ithome pregnancy test or blood test? Please help, I am not stressed out about this I am just taking it day by day but I would just like to know any opinions, suggestions, or ideas that any of you have. THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO ANSWERS I do appreciate all the help!!

Dh is out of town M-F and there is no way dh would do anything to "take care" of things during the week.
I've read that it takes 2 ejaculations to get the old stuff out. But what about having sex during fertial days? I will be ovulating on the weekend and am concerned about catching that egg.

Having sex summary: so dh arrives home on Friday night and we have sex, then we should try and do it 2 x's again on Sat., then again on Sun. Is there any good lil' swimmers getting to that egg? The good news is that I will be ovulating on the weekend for a few cycles, the bad news, dh is only home weekends.

I need a sperm 101 class.

I took a pregnancy test last night. My period isn't even technically late yet but it should be coming this weekend...I couldn't wait. I got one of the First Response ones that are supposed to tell you five days before your missed period. I took it and it took a few minutes and there was a VERY faint 2nd line in the window. The first line was very plain and dark but there's a second you can only barely see.
Am I only seeing a shadow where the second line WOULD be if I were pregnant or am I taking my test kind of soon so the test detected minimal amounts of the pregnancy hormone? I'm going to retest after the weekend (provided my period doesn't show up) and see what happens. Just wondering if this ever happened to anyone else and if you were ever pregnant and got the "barely able to tell" second line.
